We were on a road trip and needed a petfriendly place. This was a good stay for what we paid. Easy access from the freeway and close proximity to retail and restaurants. The pluses: It was fairly new, very clean and the staff were very accomodating. Bed was good and provided restful sleep. I also had no issues with noise...was never bothered by thin walls, etc. Negatives: The aforementioned courtyard (in previous review). Lack of green space or dogwalking space. They should put some grass/lanscaping in the fenced in dirt courtyard. Our toilet was loose.
I would use this again if on roadtrip.

I have stayed here several times. It's always clean and comfortable. Good location with several restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast is not free but good. Plenty of on site parking. Freeway (I-5) very close.

We stayed at this hotel while passing through California on our way back home to Washington, and were very pleased with the experience. The rooms are big and comfortable as well as the beds. I loved that there was a sink in the bathroom as well as in the room as well, that way somebody could wash their hands if somebody was in the restroom and that is always nice to have when you have small children. Besides offering coffee there was also hot chocolate in the room and plenty of cups. It was a very good price for the night and my husband and I were quite impressed with the staff as well. After being in our room for about 15 minutes we received a courtesy call from the front desk making sure that everything was satisfactory, which is amazing customer service in my opinion. We liked that there was a pillow menu since we are very picky about pillows and that there was more than one ice machine near our room. The only problem we had was that we got a little hot in the middle of the night and went to turn on the air and it didnt work. (Who knows.....my husband was half asleep when he tried it so it might be his error), but we just opened up the window and we were ok. They don't have a complimentary breakfast, but that is ok because the on site restaraunt has a great buffet in the morning but they also offer a regular menu. If you want to stay in your room they do offer room service as well, which is great for lazy mornings. We enjoyed our stay so much that we would definitely consider staying at other holiday inns based on this experience and would definitely stop here again.
