Stayed 2 nights here over a weekend.
Pros: Has an attached 24 hr - Denny's restaurant, an on-site bar open until 2AM. Hotel was quiet; not a lot of hotel guests. Kids eat free.
Cons: Hotel staff did not mention that kids eat free at the Denny's. I had to ask the waitress and she told me I needed to get vouchers from front desk.

Sort of Run Down

I stayed here on business, and it was sort of run down. The people who worked here were extremely friendly, and the breakfast was OK: fruit, OJ, coffee, and little bags with snacks and a bottle of water that you could grab. The rooms are reached from outside, motel style. There is a bar and a Dennys in the hotel. The bathrooms were run down, and the tiles were falling off the walls. The biggest complaint I had though is that 3 times during a 4 night stay my electronic key card did not work and I had to walk up to the front to get it reprogrammed. One of those times it did not work after I had walked back to the room, and I had to return to the desk. Also, they were about 15 minutes late on a wake up call, which was no big deal but could have been a big problem on another day. Also, as of Oct. 2007, there is construction on the loop highway, and getting to the hotel can be a little dicey.

Spent one night here on business. I typically stay at places with interior corridors (there are a few in Paris now), but wanted to get one more night during current Priority Club bonus promotion. Though it is somewhat older, this motel is well-kept. The room was comfortable and big enough.
The staff is very friendly and helpful - the internet is hard-wired, but works well. There is also a business center in the lobby.
The building sourrounds a spacious courtyard with a large pool - it was just the right temperature for a noon swim.
There is a Denny's adjacent to the lobby, but I didn't eat there.
I had no problems here, but I would probably stay at a place with interior corridors next time.

The wife and I stayed here in January of 07. Having taken my parents to a funeral in Paris we chose the Holiday Inn. It's always a pretty safe choice when you only need sleep accommodations. It is a reasonably clean motel, pretty much average. Don't expect the corners of the tile on the bathroom floor to be scrubbed like they are at home or in a 5 star resort or the furniture to ever be moved and swept behind.
All in all it was a comfortable stay and it has a nice little Denny's cafe in the parking lot that served a great breakfast.
They did offer us a very good deal due to the bereavement rate and the staff and desk help were very friendly and helpful. They even tracked down a city map for me since it had been many years since I'd been there.
I'd stay there again under similar circumstances.

There were bugs in the room. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold. The staff was very nice and helpful though.
