The hotel appears to be the largest in town and caters to many local functions. The drab brown decor is obviously meant to camouflage dirt as it certainly isn't attractive. The rooms are all decorated in brown. Our room was huge, strangely furnished in the brown decor, and even with 2 windows quite dark and depressing. Lighting in the room and bath was dim and dismal. The carpet needed cleaning. The indoor pool was nice, but the hot tub lacked forceful jets. The adjoining Pasta Restaurant was uninviting. Desk staff was pleasant. Breakfast server was nice, but the food was just average and the hash browns cold. Juices cost extra. Suggest Holiday Inn spruce up this one!

We were quite disappointed upon arrival when instead of being given the first floor room we had requested, we were given a room at the end of the hall on an upper floor.
The room was clean and very spacious. It was truly suite size so I don't understand why it didn't have more furniture in it, as there was a lot of empty space. There was also no pot in the coffee maker. There were however, lots of towels and pillows. We didn't care for the fact that you had to have the bathroom door shut to be able to open the front door, as the door swung out.
Free breakfast buffet was very good. Unfortunately, I can not say the same for our dinner experience at their Pasta House restaurant. Service was very slow. Portions were huge and so were the prices. The kids meals were even too big for an adult to eat. The pasta sauce was runny and bland. Not what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. The meatballs weren't very good either. The thin crust pizza, however, was delicious.
Worst of all, our waiter tried to charge us for the kids meals. The reason we ate there was because it is Holiday Inn's policy that kids eat free. Our waiter, however, didn't seem to know anything about it. How can that be? After checking with the manager he finally adjusted the bill.

This is a very nice looking hotel and we were pleased with the room. The pool area needs work and is somewhat small for the hotel size. Also they told us they had a hot tub, but unfortunately it does not work and from what we understand will not be fixed because of the cost . They should not list this property as having a hot tub when it does work properly. Also the breakfast was not as good as we had hoped. If not for these issues it would be an outstanding hotel. I would also like to add that the front desk workers were very friendly and helpful.

I stayed here when I attended a conference, and I have to say it is one of the nicest hotels in which I've ever been a guest. The rooms are just lovely and very roomy, the staff is very pleasant and the accomodations, such as meeting rooms were extremely nice. The adjoining Pasta House also does a really good job with the room service. Overall, it's a great place to stay!
