I booked this hotel a bit last minuteish as I had strangely got 3 days off work together and decided oh what the hell i'll go to the French Open, Im sure i can survive on gcse french, (yeah right).Luckily I was only here 3 nights. Now don't get me wrong there was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel. But it was pricey pricey pricey for what it was. It was right next to a tube station, which was a good point for me. There are a decent selection of bakery type places for sandwiches and breakfast fodder. But theres bugger all around. Wanted to go for a meal at night and struggled to find something at a feesable price, ended up in mcdonalds, chicken mcnuggets were a life saver i swear!
Tube is 20m from hotel altho i didn't hear any noise when in my room. The room itself could have done with a bit of a revamp, there was some scary-ass 1970's portrait on the wall, which stared at me whilst i slept, i swear the eyes moved on it. Bed was pretty comfy, but it said dble bed, was infact 2 singles shoved together as yes, you guessed it when i did my regular diving on the bed test, (an activity which must be done on every hotel visit) i fell down the middle :0(
There was a nice band aid on the wall, perhaps the wall was injured, I wasn't about to check.
Bathroom was bigger than the bedroom.
Oh dear god.....I made the mistake of not taking my laptop, there was a surcharge for wifi, maybe that was why....FRENCH TV SUCKS, I was flicking thru my 6 channels, found 4 channels of french news, the family guy, which i got briefly excited about until the sound came up (sadly dubbed in german), csi (sadly dubbed in french). All in all slightly crap.

This hotel is too far away from paris,3 miles from effiel tower and 3 trains from the cdg airport, took us two hours to get too, when your only here for a weekend like us it was time consumming spending so much time on metro.
The staff are lovely and helpful and the hotel its self is ok not bad but far from great, room quite small, bedding a bit old and stained bathroom spotless and the breakfast is ok of a fair standard.
Had a great time in paris but would stay closer to centre next time.

We went to paris in the summer of 2007 , we were limited by both a budget and the fact that we had 2 kids, very few hotels in europe seemed to have a 4 occupancy per room. This hotel was good, It did not have a good resturant, I mean very little choice. the hotel staff. Our choice of location good have been a little better at least based on where all the attractions were. This was not bad or far at all by any means, but if I do visit again, I will try to get a hotel that is by the river siene. There is a metro station right by the hotel for those who wish to use the metro. Practically any choice of cuisine within walking distance, including a Mcdonalds right opposite the hotel, (where my kids always wanted to go). The rooms were good and spacious and the staff let us check out and keep the luggage at the hotel while we went for a tour and then picked up the luggage later.

I wanted to write my indignation about this hotel, but on reading the recent reviews, most issues have been covered. However, I still feel I ought to add my comments.
Like an earlier reviewer, I had to be near the St Cloud area at relatively short notice so booked there for the sake of points. For a rate of about £100 (200US dollars), the room was like a youth hostel: scruffy, worn furnishing, torn blanket, stained bathroom tiles...the breakfast was worst than that of a typical Holiday Inn Express. This hotel should not be part of the Holiday Inn chain.
Two pieces of warning. 1- I booked a double room rate for double occupancy but was asked to pay extra person charge for the second person (my wife) ! They said the extra person starts from the second person, but the third person could stay free, French logic for you ! 2). they imposed an early departure penalty, I assume that they do this because many people had one night at the hotel and could not leave fast enough !
I would agree that the location is convinient, next to a metro station, mini-market round the corner...but I guess some people just want a bed for the night and don't ask much more.

Unless you are on a tight budget, just avoid it. The rooms border on being a backpacker's hostel - cheap, tacky and worn out furniture and bathrooms that have seen better days. Yes, I know it's a Express hotel but its standards even fall short of my expectations for that. You can get much better value for money and closer to the centre of things. This is not tourist Paris although, admittedly, the Metro station almost right outside the door which whizzes you into the City is real plus. Friendly and helpful staff, though.
