First time to Ocean City and hated the hotel. Made my trip a horrible experience. The hotel is old and mildewy. Granted it was near the beach but the out dated, overhead A/C system could not remove the moisture from the room and the beds were a liitle moist. Basically the room stank of mildew and cleaning agents. To make matters worse, the A/C dripped when it was used. The rooms and hallways are old and poorly maintained. Even worst, below the pool and in the middle of the courtyard is a tennis court and a shuffle board game. When people are playing there, the noise level was unbearable because it "ECHOED" in the rooms. O/C's beach was very nice but don't waste your time and money at this hotel.

A great three day, two night stay for six adults. The hotel was excellent and the restaurants were much better than any of us expected. The rooms were good size and clean. The Reflections restaurant was excellent for dinner. They prepared our meals (twin filets for 5 and a seafood pasta with cream sauce for me) at our table. The preparation, presentation and skill of the server was excellent. The meals were all served as requested, with fresh vegetables and hot honey poppy seed rolls that were to die for!!!
Breakfast the next morning was full service and comparable to dinner the night before.
Since this is off season the cost was unbelievable CHEAP!!
Highly recommended!!
Just fine (but not wonderful)

Recently stayed here with a bunch of kids for a middle school conference. The room was on the larger side with two double beds and a fold out couch. There was a kitchen area with all the utensils and plates and such. It seemed clean enough. Needed updating and fixing up a bit. You could open your hotel door and look through the big windows out to the right and see the beach/ocean. The kids really liked the game room with the video games and pool table. There was also an indoor pool with 2 hot tubs, but the chlorine was overwhelming and there was also a gnat problem. Yuck! Other than that, everything was fine. The restaurant area always smelled delicious in the evenings (french restaurant, Reflections.) Not sure if I would stay here again because there are so many other nice hotels in Ocean city, especially ones with free breakfast.

We wanted to have a brief getaway, and we have had several trips to Ocean City, and love the area. It was short notice, and almost every accomodation that I read on trip advisor, that sounded nice, was booked, because of BIKE WEEK, and the Dover races. However, I did look at all of the reviews, and finally came up with this one. We were a little leary of going because of all the traffic and noise from the bikers, but, it was not that bad. The rooms faced the ocean and you could not hear the street traffic.
The room was small with 2 double beds, but very clean, the bathroom was spotless and there were plenty of clean white fresh towels. The sliding door opened up to a nice little balcony which provided a southern view of the ocean which was just as nice as the folks who were facing the ocean and paying more! It even had a decorative fireplace! Also when you left your room ,the inside corridor had huge windows which gave you a beautiful northern view of the ocean, the city ,and the bay! I would wake up and open the door and see the sunrise as I walked down the back stairs to an easy beach access, and pool access. There was a lovely tropical landscaped pool area, with a wade up bar, a sunning area w/sand and chairs and several hammocks to use.
The staff was very helpful, and quick to resolve any problems or questions you had. The maid service was excellent.
The area was on 66th street away from the congested activity at the end of the boardwalk. You could take the bus down to the boardwalk if you wanted to spend some time there without having to worry where to park (advice from the front desk). The Ocean City beaches are wonderful, they are very wide and have lovely soft sand.
We were very pleased with our stay, and wished we could've stayed longer.
No offense to the bikers, but if you are looking for a peaceful visit, and cannot tolerate a lot of noise-don't plan to come during Bike Week!
