This hotel was a choose of the company and it was a good one. The rate included a bufett breakfast.
The room is really good and convenient, with all the services you can expect on a Holiday Inn.
The bad new is the location. In the nearby area you won't fine nothing nice to go and have a nice walk, everything looks so dirty and "popular".

The problems with this hotel chain began before I even got to the hotel. The problem was that I didn't even know it, until it was too late.
You see there have been a rash of misuse of credit cards in Mexico recently. Knowing this we attempted to pay in full for the room on a Visa card in advance. The reason being is that the trip was being paid for me by someone else. We contacted the Holiday Inn 1-800 number and explained that I would not have a credit card when I arrived, and that the person paying was right there to approve the purchase. It was important to be done this way, as the card would not be travelling with me. We were assured there would be no problem. The hotel was paid for, and all I had to do was check in....well guess what?
When I arrived I was told that no payment was made and that without the credit card I would have no room. I just came from a stop over in Mexico City that had me so exhausted that I needed rest desperately. Now I'm in Mexico with very little cash, and no room. I was horrified. The management seemed to have no empathy for me whatsoever. After giving them nearly every bit of cash I had, they finally let me phone home for help. After making me wait in the lobby for nearly an hour they finally approved my room, after the card owner had faxed copies of the card and identification to them.
The problems continuted when I got my room. After a while I realized that the air conditioning did not work at all. It was random. You just got whatever was coming out of the vent. My TV would randomly turn off at least 20 times a day. They also had someone check a mini-bar for the first three days that I was there. A mini-bar that they never provided a key for.
The advertised "heated pool" was not heated. The jacuzzi was not heated. The business centre had two computers that barely worked, if at all. The managers in all departments, especially the business centre and front desk seemed to have nothing but contempt for me. I have never felt more unwelcome, and I have stayed at over 200 hotels in my life as an entertainer.
I am looking into what legal action I can take against this hotel chain. It was that bad.
The only good note, and it was a very good note, was the kindness and generosity of the general help. Hector, Charlie, Richard, and Luis were fantastic. They also had a piano player named Luis that played at breakfast. He was outstanding.
The Management could not help me with the simplest of things, and they could not, or would not, give me the address to a Western Union when I had money sent to me. They never smiled at me once. It was the worst experience at a hotel for me ever.
If you have any information that may help me get my money back from this hotel, please email me at the address below. Thanks!
