This hotel is new and has an upscale ambience for the chain. The staff was friendly and competent. The on site restaurant was appreciated. Breakfast service was quick and the menu is full although the fruit was not the best quality considering were there in July. One day there was a buffet. The bar is open for evening drinks. Housekeeping did a fine job. The hotel is not right next to the interstate...I-75, which is pleasant. We'll probably stay here again.

Planned a stop in Valdosta in order to take advantage of a longer last day at Walt Disney World. Found the new Holiday Inn an above average place to stay, with two comfortable queen beds, fridge, coffee maker, microwave & flat screen TV. I could have stayed the weekend!
I was not pleased with dinner in the restaurant, however. The food was mediocre & overpriced. Service was pleasant but slow.
Kids had a great time in the pool, though no one was paying attention to younger kids in the hot tub, which was annoying. I had to let a couple of younger ones know that as long as I was in the hot tub, there would be no splashing or horseplay.
There are other eating establishments nearby - my kids and I ate a late breakfast at Waffle House before returning to Atlanta.

I was only here for one night and came in late. The check in was quick and efficient. The room was spacious with a flat screen TV on the wall. There was an ample supply of towels, this is often not he case as there were 4 of us in the room. The beds were large and comfortable. A coffee maker was in the room along with coffee in the lobby. The full service restaurant was adaquate and there are several other places to eat nearby. Overall the facility is new and provides a good nights stay.

I stayed at this Holiday Inn recently while in the area for my high school reunion. All the group rate rooms were booked when I called but they gave me a discount for being a USAA member that was almost the same rate. The hotel is very new and is very nice. Large flat screen tv, king bed, lots of pillows, pull out couch and sitting area, desk, nice bathroom. There was no tub but there was a double sized shower stall which was even better to me. Nice large shower head, good pressure. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The only thing missing was there is no free continental breakfast. But the hotel has a restaurant inside that has a breakfast buffet and there is a IHOP right in front of the hotel. The only problem I had is I got there at check in "rush hour". The staff accidently assigned me and the couple who were checking in to the same room! But one of the maintenance staff happened to be on there and ran back downstairs to get it corrected and bring me my new key card!!! The staff were great! Very polite and friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a brand new Holiday Inn. The rooms are very nice, and some of the largest standard rooms I have ever stayed in. The beds were very comfortable with a nice selection of pillows. In the room I had there was no bath tub.. only a shower. I thought that was odd.. but it didnt matter to me. The rooms also have refrigerators, microwaves, and LCD t.v.'s which were nice. Check-in was quick and professional. My only minor complaints were: There were no glasses in the room... only small paper cups. The restaraunt area seemed like part of the lobby, it was not very seperated.
Overall, I would highly highly reccomend this hotel. I have never gotten this level of an experience for the price I paid.
