We enjoyed this hotel. Stayed the weekend before Christmas. The staff was really friendly. The game room and indoor pool were awesome.
I'd stay again.

We booked our team at this hotel for a weekend hockey tournament. The people at the hotel were friendly and always seemed more than willing to go the extra mile to say hello and help our group. They let us order food for the entire group and use the ballroom to our selfs. One of the main reasons was the indoor pool which was great for the kids!

For $118.75 per night plus taxes, I expected a clean, small room with basic furnishings - I wasn't expecting much - after all, it is a Holiday Inn.
What I got instead was used nose strips stuck to the malfunctioning heater/air conditioner, terrible housekeeping, screaming children until all hours of the night running through the hallways and a completely unresponsive front desk. When I complained that children had been screaming all night, the front desk clerk looked us in the eye and lied to us saying: that's the very first we've heard of that. I knew for a fact (through speaking with people on our floor) that others had complained and had received a complimentary room - something the front desk supervisor was not prepared to do in our case since we didn't call down "frequently enough" when it was happening.
A warning to those requesting rooms at the hotel - be sure to ask for a room with an actual window - not a window overlooking the indoor pool as you're likely to be exposed to very little fresh air and lots of noise starting very early in the morning. Or better yet - avoid this place entirely.

Our family visited the Holiday Inn Carrier Circle for a long weekend of shopping in November 2005. While the hotel is a bit older than some others in the area, such as the Embassy Suites, we found the staff to be very friendly and the rooms clean and more than adequate during our stay. The indoor pool is large and well-maintained and the whirlpool was hot and very relaxing after our long days in the malls! I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.

Here are examples of problems I encountered. This also will list problems experienced by other people who attended a wedding this weekend.
1. Several rooms were not available for check-in at 300pm. Fortunately, mine was. I think in part due to my being a Priority Club member.
2. My AC did not work correctly. Several other people complained of the same problem. Four phone calls, the final at midnight, still proved pointless. No maintainance attention was ever received.
**They did comp my room, which was appropriate at that point.
3. Coincidentally, my aunt found a bloody towel in their room. (See other reviews. Another guest had the same experience.) My aunt was told to remove the towel and place it in the hall. The staff would bring in a new towel. My aunt refused to touch it, and they transferred her room.
4. Two hand towels are rolled and placed in the corner of the vanity. A piece of soap is placed on top. Upon removing the left towel to dry my hands, it was very damp on the inside and smelled of mildew.
5. The carpet in the room was very worn and had "strings" hanging around the edges.
6. The side entrance reeked of cigarette smoke upon entering the door. Half way up the stairs it dissipated.
WEDDING ISSUES - Guest tables were not set up completely at 500pm. Staff was still putting favors on the tables. Several tables were missing place settings and seats. For example, ours was set for 6, there were 8 people assigned to our table. No gift table was set up. The dance floor came apart. Our waiter was very rude, never addressing us. Never offering water. When we asked for water, he told us to go to the bar to get it. The staff was also removing stuff from the tables while the guests were still sitting at them.
GOOD NOTES:
The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent, although the staff did not bring out all of the meals at once.
Bed Linens were clean.
Bathrooms were clean.
All in all, I would not stay at this property again. Nor would I recommend it.
