stayed in Jul 2008
Arrived evening of 17th July '08. All I can say is that we could not have asked for more during our impromptu stay at this hotel. The staff, a dark haired lad whose name escaped me, sorry, and a girl called Tatyana were a credit to their employers and their genuine smile and willinginess to help was evident. The room we had, a king size standard, was extreemly comfortable and included a 'pillow menu'. I chose the no. 3 and no.4 goose down, and did have to force myself to get up for breaksfast. The food was plentiful and tasty and not your usual same tasting 'fodder' you get at your Wetherspoons and the like, despite cateing for so many. The restaurant staff were attentive without being obtrusive.
The hotel is fronted by the canal with its barges and ducks and features a terrace for your pleasure, We gave the gym a very wide birth as this was an intended 'time out' break for my husband and myself, but noticed the faithful were fully utilising the facility.
We personally cannot fault it , all the carpeting and furnitue was new and in a sleek contempory style which was lovely. If you're into chintz and Roses Roses china then you really need to go elsewhere, perhaps get your forthcomming care home to arrange it for you? All in all a great stay . Thanks.

Nice stay at the Holiday Inn Stratford

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Stratford on June 12th/13th on a business conference. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the town centre and on the bank of the canal. From the outside it isn't the most beautiful of hotels (built in the 60s or 70s). However inside it is of a good standard with a nice reception area. The dining area and bar look out onto gardens and the canal. The lunch, dinner & breakfast offered through our conference was very good. Our conference rooms suffered from the usual; no natural light and temperature too high. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable with coffee making facilities. I didn't use the gym & pool but the hotel has them. Overall a nice stay at the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. Brilliant location for sightseeing - 5 minutes walk to the town. Rooms were really comfortable and although the hotel was full, we never heard much noise at night. Breakfast was really plentiful and set us up for the day ahead. The swimming pool was very welcoming at the end of a day sightseeing. We would definately stay here again.

This was my 5th time back to this Hotel, and apart from the expensive drinks they sell at the bar it has everything you could need. A short walk to the town, great rooms, fab breakfast and really nice staff. We plan on going back to Stratford Upon Avon again next year but we think we might try another hotel for a change!!
But i would definately recommend this hotel for it's fantastic location.
