We had no complaints about this hotel-the pool was nice & the cafe/
restaurant very good. The bedrooms had a tasteful design & the staff were friendly.
The breakfast was more limited than other hotels we'd stayed in - but was fine. The ambience of the hotel was good.
Only negative was the puppet show which went on after 10 pm& involved drums-when I called reception to ask when it would stop, they said "what drums?"!
A comfortable good hotel

We travel a lot in India, and hotels are very uneven. This place is excellent. I believe we payed about $300USD a night for a suite, and we felt it was worth every penny.
1) Clean, nicely decorated, quiet rooms.
2) Attentive staff.
3) GREAT restaurants. Their all day cafe restaurant was superb. We were traveling with a 4 year old child, and they went out of their way to make kid friendly food. One of our party asked if she could get a plate of fruit. Minutes later, out came a wonderfully arranged assortment of fruits on a plate.
4) Nice pool.
5) Quiet location just outside the city center.
Only negative? If you need transport, you can get much better rates by getting a taxi/auto ricksaw yourself.

The hotel has a distinctly Indian style with a big marble lobby and rooms off landings surrounding an atrium. The rooms were clean and comfortable but rather dark and dated; they were well equipped and my wife was delighted to find an iron and ironing board in the cupboard. The laundry service was excellent and reasonably priced. Service was very good and extra blankets and a room heater were provided promptly (it was unseasonably cold during our stay). The food was good with a good choice of Indian and western dishes. The hotel is well located on the road between the old city and Amber. A more than adequate tourist/
business hotel.
