I had a good experience at this hotel. The young desk clerk was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the price was GREAT! The desk clerk knew her way very well around the town and gave me excellent directions to find the places i needed to go. To the person who complained the tiles, brand new tiles have been installed and they look great. Good place to stay for a great small price.

I have stayed in several Motel 6 locations because I like the price and their consistency. But, this one was really bad. I had reserved a non smoking room but they tried to put me in a smoking room. They floor in the bathroom was spongy in and around the shower from wood rot. The vinyl flooring in the bathroom never did reach the walls, it was literally about two inches away from the wall around the perimeter of the bathroom. When I came back to my room with four bags of groceries my first evening there, my key would no longer work in my room door. The lobby closes at 10 PM, so getting anyone to help me get into my room was a chore. I had to pound on the door until someone finally opened it up. They had deliberately deactivated my key because they needed to see me to get another credit card swipe. So, they couldn’t leave a note on my door or a message on my phone, they just deactivated my key. That night, there was a large and very noisy basketball team in the hallways until 2 o’clock AM. The night manager did nothing to quiet them down or usher them out. The walls to the rooms are very thin. I could hear everything in the next room, even normal conversation, let alone rude noisy people in the hallway. My lovely room was right next to the fire exit door. Literally, all night, people were coming and going through the door. I don’t know if it was drugs or “lovin’” they were after, but the door slammed shut over and over again all night long and kept me awake. The advertised facilities don’t really exist. The washer and dryer were disconnected and the pool was closed (full of green water and lawn furniture). My advice is to spend a little bit more and get a real hotel in Clarksville.

My job requires that I spend almost as much time in a hotel as at home. I found this hotel to be very clean and very inexpensive, so if you're looking for value and a clean place to sleep you're in luck.
