I stayed here for one night for a layover and I would not recommend this hotel. First off had to wait over 30 min for a shuttle which at like midnight after working all day is unacceptable another person who called they put him on hold til he hung up. I used to live close to Charlotte so I know my way around the city, so I know it does not take 30 min to get to the airport from the holiday inn. We finally get there and the front desk looked nice but this hotel has gone to the dogs since I stayed there two years ago. The bed was not comfortable the a/c kept me up all night because it was so loud and the pillows were flat as pancakes. The one good thing was the internet which I had no problems with. The bathroom needed some major TLC moldy cauking and cracked tiles and water stains on the ceiling. I went to the breakfast cafe the next morning and things in the buffet had sat so long unused that the gravy was completely congealed that after accidently dropping a breakfast potato in it that it actually bounced off it, lol. The egg station was good though. The staff was nice but that was about it, I personally would not stay here if I could help it, there are many better hotels in Charlotte than here like the Doubletree by Southpark Mall.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night. When we arrived there was no remote control to the tv, no ice bucket, no shower curtain, no iron and the room was just dirty. The curtains had obviously been there since day one because they were stained and dirty. We asked for a wake up call and guess what, we didn't get that either. I emailed the manager with my complaints and he assured me that I would see a credit on my card. It's the end of April and NO credit. I e-mailed him about this and he still hasn't responded. I would NOT ever recommed this hotel ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The front of this hotel is definately a Baited Hook. I stayed in room 101 which I would recommend to nobody. The room is old and run down. The general aroma of the first floor area was not plesent. There was a bed and a TV and thats about it. My room cost was $172.00 and I should have slept in my car. The vending machine was out of order, and the smoking area was just outside my window. I checked out just as the sun rose and RAN across the road to the Embassy Suites. The service there is 1000 times better and costs much less. I could swear I heard someone ask if they could rent sheets by the hour..... Traveler also beware the holiday inn charged my credit card $172.00 AND THEN PLACED A $590.16 HOLD IN ADDITION TO THE CHARGE
Travelers Beware... If you stay here, Hold Your Nose and Pay Cash !.
