I had two rooms; both doors and some hallway/entry doors had problems closing easily. The first rooms facing the outside face parking lots and my room (396) was particularly noisy with the highway and drinkers causing noise all night long. Had to push to get another room and I have "gold" status. Inside courtyard facing rooms are very quiet. Both rooms had acceptable decor but bathrooms clearly old with yellowing sinks and tubs with cracks. Inside pool was ok; whirlpool was a warm tub with bubbles, not jets. Restaurant (breakfast) service two days in a row was slow and limited. The rooms had refrigerators. Room alarms were not easy to use. No cable movie channels. The internet will allow you to receive but NOT SEND using standard Outlook program. Fairly good reception throughout the hotel. Staff has limited resources and the focus is clearly on numbers. One of the weaker holiday inns I have stayed at.

when i booked this hotel with children in tow,.. Pros to this place: they offer great guest service,staff is excellent.very clean hotel and rooms.very comfy atmosphere.the beds are soooo comfy with the puffy pillows! breakfast was yummy! the kids had a blast in the very clean pool. cons to this place: The housekeepers must be using way to much cleaning stuff,because thats all you can smell through the hallways,and in the room we booked.our room wasnt bad,light odor.video games are expensive to use,and you are charged to use them,with 1 remote(i thought this was included with the room i booked).The heater in the room runs even on low so much,i had to shut the entire Heater off,to be able to breathe comfy.it stayed warm anyways without it.but a more normal temp,and not sauna.even on low..was to warm.the coffee maker is a 1 cup coffee maker-not a regular coffee maker,and the room i booked was 2 queen beds and a roll away bed.i recieved 1 king size bed,a lounge chair with an ottoman ,and 1 roll away.not exactly what i had in mind for my children to sleep.or my husband and i.&.i didnt complain to staff,as we were all exhausted by nights end,and just made due until we left the next morning.that was the only downfall for our stay.overpriced for what we got. Overall opinion: Great place,but do make sure you call the day before to make sure your reservations are exact to what you asked for when you booked,and that it will be that way when you arrive.and any other questions about anemnities.this was a great place,staff is awesome.but cost wise,disney does better for far less of a price for 1 night.

We stayed here in feb for 3 nights. This hotel is great for traveling with in infant, with a micowave in the room (easy to clean the bottles). Hotel was just redone and was very very clean. I will stay here again next year. Best hotel in Bangor.

We stayed at this hotel, after having issues at another hotel (gave us a smoking room, when we asked for non....). The room was large, clean and bright. During the night, my son became ill. Not knowing the area, or how to get to the store, the lady at the front desk actually drove to walmart and got us medicine as her shift was over. I have never had such customer service in my life. from now on, we will be stayin at this hotel when in bangor!!!

I Stayed in the Holiday Inn odlin Rd in September last year and it was a blast. Cindy behind the desk was curtious and very upbeat for someone at 2 in the morning. Marla and Doreen were awesome the next morning. Next time Im in Bangor, I am defitnally staying there.
