Booked this hotel on hotwire trying to get the Omni. Same Hotwire price, and same star-level... ended up with the Airport Hilton so was curious to see how it was.
First of all, if you're planning on spending time in the "city," I would think the commute would be somewhat painful. But the hotel is VERY convenient to the airport.
Driving aside, I would say that the hotel is nice, has a great lobby and center rotunda bar. There is a musty smell in the rooms... maybe it is a carry-over from my Air Force days, it gave me the chills, sorta like the building once housed labs where they ran illicit experiments or something. But that could just be my agent orange acting up again.
Other deals that stand out about my experience: parking was $11/day, internet was $10/day, local calls are charged by the minute. Another nickel and dime experience from a "luxury-style" hotel.
How is it that lower quality hotels offer these things free of charge? (that was rhetorical).
Basically, I enjoyed the stay, didn't have bad dreams, and if I don't need to travel to the city to work, would stay here again.

Loved the Hilton! The staff was very friendly and accomodating - probably the nicest overall staff I have ever encountered at a hotel. Room was very nice and clean. Workout room was updated and modern with new equipment and individual television monitors. Pool was great! The only disappointing thing was that the hotel was so empty. I often felt that there were more staff than guests there. Will make it difficult to stay in business, but is great for the guests - no lines for anything and very attentive, individualized service.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years. Never have really been a fan.
-Location. If you need an airport hotel, it can't be any closer. However, there is nothing (i.e. restaurants) walkable from the property.
-Building. It's a round hotel and also a former Air Force bunker (or something along those lines). So it kind of has a stuffy feel. Almost a bit creepy. The restaurant and bar are in the middle "atrium" area, however they are short on natural light.
-Rooms. Wierd almost "pie-shaped" rooms because of round hotel. Could be cool, but the design was way off. There is a lot of wasted space and dead space in the rooms. It just doesn't work. The decor isn't particulary fresh. It could use an updating. However, the bedding is very nice and the bathroom is generous in size.
-Staff. They are ok. Have encountered some indefferent employees.
You really have to expererience this hotel - it's hard to describe the odd feel the place gives off. Oh, and prepare to be nickel and dimed!
I would try other airport properties. If you do stay here, request a room with a window facing outside, not the atrium. Otherwise, there is very little natural light available.

The hotel is beautiful, but I will not stay there again. Why? I didn't like being raped financially. I had to pay to park. Internet access in the room is $10 per day. Breakfast buffet was a whopping and unprecendented $18. I can see where this would be a great place to stay if you're there for one night and flying. But I had a car and many other options right up the road. Never again!

Are you kidding - why would anyone rate this hotel so high. Terrible restaurant - more like a holiday inn express, worst bartender with no help, one elevator down and they double billed my credit card and now say they don't even show me starying there.
This place is a diaster in the mioddle of nowhere.
