We stayed in this hotel for one night. The staff at the reception was very helpful and the room was good. What we were annoyed at was that you had to pay for the internet, you would expect that would be included at such a rate because it is not a cheap hotel. We booked a stay with breakfast. Bad decision: the croissants were at least 2 days old, the 'hot' self-service breakfast items such as eggs and bacon were cold because the lids of the trays were open, it was absolutely not worth the money we paid for it. Overall: hotel OK, but don't have breakfast there.

Well,
We had our conference in the Hilton, and it was very successful. The conference staff worked with us and the banquet staff and maintenance staff were very helpful. As an example, when a screw came out of our projector screen, the maintenance team came up to the banquet area within 10 minutes at 10 pm to find a screw that would match. It saved the conference for us.
The rooms were nice, but ask for an odd numbered room as they are the ones facing the Vermillion River. The even numbered ones just face the parking lot.
My only complaint was that when I stayed in the hotel a few weeks ago, I was not told that there is a reception area and continental breakfast on the 15th floor for Hilton Rewards members. The breakfast was meek, although there were two or three hot dishes, but I would have still liked to have been told about it on my first visit.
I would not pay the rack rate for this hotel, and I would think that sub-$100 a night stays are probably right on target.
Nothing major though, and I would still highly recommend the hotel.

We spent one night at the Hilton Lafayette Towers over the weekend. It was our first time staying at the hotel. It's not the Ritz, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Check in was smooth. I like the updated look of the lobby. We were in room 1420 which over looks the parking lot. Which was fine too. We had access to the Exec lounge on the 15th floor. They served drinks and light snack food.
There were lots of pillows on the bed. Very inviting. The rest of the room was like most others. It had a desk with office chair. Then a second chair with a foot rest. They also had robes for the guests.
We had a meal at the restaurant down stairs. When I walked in, I wasn't expecting much because it looks very outdated. More like a cafeteria. But the food was excellent. I recommend the mini meat pies and the crawfish bisque. Both were excellent.

My wife and I stayed at the Hilton Lafayette for just one night. We were exploring the Cajun Country and needed a place to stay before early morning departure home. I booked this hotel on-line for under $90.
The hotel is located on West Pinhook road within easy reach of I-10 and I-49. We never been to the area before, yet had no trouble finding it. The parking lot is spacious and well lit. Lafayette airport is only 5 miles away.
This hotel is modern and shows sign of recent renovation. Valets were available to assist with luggage till late at night. The lobby is spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very generous.
Multiple amenities are available to the guests including a restaurant, a bar, and an outside pool. Before departing, we had breakfast at the hotel. The buffet was very good and reasonably priced under $12. They offer a variety of cereals, fruits, pastries, hot dishes, yogurts, and even smoked salmon. Restaurant staff unfortunately was not very attentive.
If I'm ever back in Lafayette, I will definitely consider staying at this Hilton again

Would not recomend staying there - rooms are not cleaned properly - waste food is left in the hallway - checked out early as did not feel it was worth the money charged
