My occupation has me traveling every week. Therefore, I stay in a different hotel every week. Overall, this is a pretty nice place. Okay place…a bit on the older side…Walnut Creek is the next town over and I’d look at the Embassy Suites.

Rooms are spacious and front desk staff helpful. The Italian restaurant serves a decent meal, there is a bar in the lobby but not very active. The last time I stayed here I was upgraded based on my Honors status to the executive floor, which provides free beer/snacks during happy hour and a free continental breakfast in the morning.
The hotel is easily accessable off the freeway and while the surrounding Concord area is not the nicest part of the Bay Area, there are plenty of chain restaurants (Elephant Bar, Dennys, etc. you know the drill) , gas stations, retail shopping, etc. all within walking distance or a short drive. I would consider the location very convenient for business travel.
The only negative comment I have is that the gym and pool area are below average, at least in my experience of other HIlton properties. I think this has something to do with the age of the facility, as it does seem a bit dated.
Overall, I dont have anything unique to report on this hotel. I stay here once every few months for work and just wanted to say that it's been consistent each time in being a typical Hilton. No frills, clean, good service, and nothing to complain about. Pretty much Hiltons are usually my first choice when taking business trips.

I was in Concord for business and I can't thank the staff enough. Everything was wonderful. I have stayed in other hotels such as the Walnut Creek Marriott and the Walnut Creek Embassy Suites but nothing compares to the staff and service of the Hilton Concord. I was there for a 4 night stay and after the second night the front desk staff knew me by name and was happy to direct me around town. The rooms are beautiful and VERY clean. The fitness center is larger than most and smelt fresh not like a gym. I didn't use the pool but from what I could tell the people that were using it were very happy. I was very please and I will recommend my company to house all of thier employees at the Hilton Concord when on business or pleasure.

At $109 a night plus tax it was a good rate. Hotel was nice and clean and upscale which was also nice. We just didn't like our Wiggly bed. Every time one of us moved, so did the bed.
Yes the bathroom door hits your knees if you have it open while sitting on the pot; however, when closed it was fine. Too bad they don't have a fan in the bathroom.
We had breakfast in the restaurant there and it was good except we had to keep asking the server for everything we needed. He did comp us a glass of OJ which was nice.
If we need to stay over in the area again, we'd probably stay here again.
We also felt safe at this location and there were some great restaurants across the street had we needed to eat dinner. Easy to find off I-680 as well.

I arrived early to learn this is a franchised property and no HHonors services would be available over Labor Day weekend. No biggie, I just needed a place to hang my hat while visiting family in the Walnut Creek. This is where priceline stuck me on a 3 star request.
Proximity to Walnut Creek was a stretch, but the hotel was what I would expect for a 3 star.
After getting past the poor attitude of the front desk person, I settled into my room on the honors floor. The room was hot . The weather was 100+ each day and the motel style wall-unit AC could not keep up with the heat even with the curtains pulled all day long. Thankfully, it cooled down nicely in the evenings.
The room, while dated and looking abit worn, offered better than typical wall art, above average bedding with crisp sheets and comfy pillows. The carpet had grease stains tracked through. But housekeeping did a great job keeping the room tidy beyond that.
The bath was clean and reasonably sized and I found 2 terry robes in the closet. The bathroom also contained a cheery vase with gerber daisy floating in it.
When will the Hilton chain give there rooms a face lift and bring in the flat panel tv's - after watching at home it's tough on the road to watch and listen these antiquated sets.
Mt Diablo State Park was south and an easy ride, I also visited the waterpark close by on a hot afternoon. There are a variety of food choices walking distance across the street at the shopping plaza. You could also use this property as a staging area for a Napa Valley wine tasting run.
For the money, I'd stay here again. It was a long ride back to the Oakland airport, I had a very early flight and 4am wakeup to get there on time so plan your flights accordingly.
