We just spent five nights at the Hilton while my husband attended a conference. Very convenient location to the convention center. The beds were great! Our room was extremely clean, and had large comfy towels. We started off rocky after requesting a refrigerator THREE seperate times, we finally received it and they threw in a free movie for the problem.
After that, things were great. Our toddler actually locked herself in the bathroom, and they sent maintenance up immediately to get her out at 11:00 at night. We ate lunch at the Market Cafe, food was okay, not great. The pool is tiny, but the kids enjoyed it. All in all, a really good stay!

The people working there were nice and tried to remedy the problems, but those problems were numerous and irritating:
-Air conditioning unit in Room #1 blew out at 3 in the morning on a warm night.
-Much disgusting black sediment in tub in Room #2 to which we were moved in the morning.
-Room #3 on concierge floor was adequate. Concierge facility for breakfast and evening snacks loaded with unsupervised adolescents. More people there than in the lobby!
-Couldn't exit garage b/c Room #3 card not keyed for garage.
-Room #3 not made up until 5 p.m. after we had been out of the room since before 9 a.m.
-Someone's $53 bar bill added to my hotel bill.

I recently stayed at the Hilton in downtown Knoxville and had a comfortable, hassle-free stay. The Hilton Knoxville embodies all that you come to expect from a Hilton property, such as modern amenities and good service. Since I am a Hilton HHonors member, I was also treated to perks such as access to the 18th floor concierge lounge for both an afternoon reception and morning continental breakfast.
The Hilton Knoxville has sleek, modern decor, along with several restaurants and a Starbucks within the property. The hotel has a convenient downtown location, close by the UT campus, as well as within walking distance to Market Square and most downtown businesses and restaurants. The Hilton offers valet and self-parking, but due to its location, both for a fee.
Check in/check out was a breeze, and the front desk served as a fitting concierge. The rooms are also very comfortable with flat screen tvs, modern bathroom and complimentary wireless access; my room had a great view of the river/UT campus too. The only amenity that really lacking was a mini-fridge.
Overall, if you're traveling through Knoxville on business or pleasure, the Hilton is a great place to hang your hat!

This was our second stay at the Hilton. We like staying here in warmer weather because it is an easy walk to market square. But being that it is a Hilton it is more expensive then some of the hotels we stay at. It again met all of our expectations. There is a nice bar in the lobby that had been redone since our last visit in June. The beds are very comfortable and everything is very clean.
We have already booked it for the weekend in May when we pick up our daughter from UT. It is also a great place to stay if going to Sundown in the City.
