This Hilton is a block off the main square in downtown Santa Fe, convenient to everything and the best priced hotel I could find this close to the square (just compare it to the Eldorado across the street!). Our room was renovated and nicely done. Despite its location, it was not noisy .We did not hear a peep of street noise or any noise from other hotel guests. Staff was friendly, helpful and relaxed leaving the impression that the place was well-run. Lobby is lovely and water always available to guests. Breakfast in the Pinon Gril was one of the best I have seen in any Hilton, the breakfast potatoes were especially good. Would definitely stay here again, cannot wait to return.

I am rating this a 4 because of the price. Santa Fe is an expensive city (for hotels near the plaza), so for about $200 this was a decent hotel. However, the rooms are bit worn and definitely needs a makeover. Great service, location and lobby, but the rooms need updating. I would expect more from Hilton and it is subpar compared to most other Hilton brand hotels that I have stayed at in the past. Everything was clean and an easy walk to the plaza, so it was an overall good experience. There are much better places to stay, but they cost about twice as much.

Got woken up at 6 AM by a loud noise in pool area. Contacted the manager who said he would look into it but never got back to me. I asked for him at check out and he confirmed that someone was using a shop vac between 6 and 7 am and saying it was a case of "stupidity". When I requested a refund his response was "you used the room". Very disappointing to say the least. Luckily I contacted Hilton customer service who rectified the situation. On balance a declining property that needs some TLC.

I can't believe this is a Hilton Hotel. I had a lovely view of the dumpster. The room was filthy, the sheets are not white anymore, the floor was so dirty, i had to keep my shoes on. The shower was moldy. They charge 15 dollars a day to self park. 9 dollars a day for internet. The food was not so good either, lobby is small with no bar. It's nice and convenient to the plaza, one block away to shops and art galleries. The huge outdoor fireplace by the pool was a nice feature. I would not stay here again. This hotel needs to be cleaned and renovated,

I would call the Hilton at Santa Fe average. I am a big fan of Hilton properties so I probably graded the hotel a little harder than if it were another chain. You probably won't be disappointed but won't be thrilled either. Plusses: The location is excellent with plenty of museums, shops and restaurants just steps away. The rooms are adequate and well equipped. The on-site resaurant, Pinon Grill, has a very good breakfast buffet. Minuses: Hotel is a little dated. Key cards don't work well in the side doors. Concierge lady was missing the two times we needed her. One thing we did like was the restaurant called Dinner for Two which is located across the street from the Hilton. Dinner for Two has excellent gourmet food, outstanding service and a very nice atmosphere at a terrific price.
