My husband and I stayed at the Hilton while visiting family in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are Silver Hilton H Honors members so we try to stay at the Hilton brand hotels. POSITIVE: The location of the hotel is very good - close to all kinds of shops and restaurants. It is also very convenient to I-96. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very large. NEGATIVE: The hotel itself was below expectation for a Hilton hotel. The building and the rooms are old. There was mold in the bathroom. On my Hilton H Honor's profile, I requested room away from elevators and the hotel put us right next to an elevator - which is strange because all the other hilton hotels have respected that request.
Overall it was an OK stay. But the next time we go visit family in Grand Rapids, we will probably try another hotel.

We pricelined this hotel for 55$. Unfortunately, we could only get a room with doubles, but otherwise our stay was great- comfy beds, a typical (but fun) airport hotel bar- complete with lounge singer- and great service. It was just fine for a night's stay.

This was my first trip to Grand Rapids and my company had booked us into the Hilton Grand Rapids
Arrived at around 9.00pm and was quickly checked in and found the room very easily
Fair size room with an adequate size bathroom,very clean and modernised from its original interior
All the essentials were already in the room,such as iron,ironing board, hairdryer...etc so no need for lengthy housekeeping waits which is a bonus when trying to get ready for the office in the morning
As mentioned in earlier posts it was a bonus to get free wireless internet in all the rooms
The beds were exceptionally comfortable which helped after the flight from England
The Spinnaker restaurant and bar was a lovely retreat in the evenings for either some great seafood or just beers with work colleagues
All staff were friendly and happy to deal with any requests or queries
For a Hilton this hotel had more of a homely feel to it and is a great location for the airport without the noise

I stayed here one night on business. Usually I find airport hotels to be way below average but this one exceeded my expectations. It is an older hotel but the beds were comfortable and updated and the furniture in my room seemed new. The bathroom was a little rough though. It was a very small bathroom, so small that when I opened the door, it almost hit the toilet. The shower fixtures did not match and the sink base was scruffy and broken. Despite that, I still had an pleasant experience at the hotel. The staff was professional and the hotel restaurant was very good. My one complaint is that there is no executive lounge or floor but that is very typical of airport Hiltons. I will stay here again the next time I am in Grand Rapids.
