Stayed here on Friday and Saturday night in 2 different rooms. Friday I asked to be upgraded to a courtyard room and this was done with no difficulty and no additional fee. We had a very nice king room with a balcony. The hotel has been renovated within the past couple of years and is quite nice and very clean. Nice bathroom amenities and wonderful towels.
We stayed here because this was the only hotel I contacted that was able to quarantee two adjoining rooms. This was done quickly and easily. Our daughters and granddaughter were meeting us for a family weekend. I asked at the front desk if we could be changed to first floor rooms with access to the courtyard this was also done quickly and easily. This time we had a $10 upgrade fee but was worth it so the baby could go outside. When we requested a crib it was in place when we returned and set up.
All the staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. This will definately be my Little Rock hotel every time we stay. Great location and impresive decor.

Having been traveling cross country on back roads (with back road motels), I decided to splurge a little and stay at this Hilton. It looked nice from the road and I was tired. The room decor was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. I liked the large desk and arm chair with ottoman. I was also impressed with the amenities such as bottled water and GOOD coffee made by the cup in the room.
I had room service for dinner and it was typically bad. My easy special order (no lettuce or tomato in my wrap) was ignored and the fries were cold. oh well, should have known better.
I have read the reviews above about the renovation, but also know that you are paying for those. I sweet-talked the front desk into an AARP discount (I'm only 43), but the $141 climbed to $164 with occupancy tax, sales tax (these two are expected) and a facility surcharge ( $6 ). When I questioned the facility surcharge, I was told it was to help pay off the bond issue for the renovations. hmmmm
Yes, everyone was very polite and nice and I would stay here again. One thing to note if you have TV watchers in your party - not many cable channels are offered. Read a book.

This is a brief summary of how our romantic getaway went awry because of this location's incompetent staff and their inability to use the corporate systems in place.
I booked our 2-night stay at Hilton's website and was happy to see that I could preorder a surprise: chocolate dipped strawberries (and extra towels) to be delivered at check-in. The hotel staff got nothing right. Instead of putting us in a king room as requested, they issued us keys to a room with 2 beds. They resolved that in 15 minutes. After an hour in our king room, the preorder items had not arrived. Using the Hilton OnTime website through a link in my confirmation email a week before our arrival date, I ordered 6 chocolate-dipped strawberries for $10.00. When I spoke with the front desk to find out where the items were, they didn't know that there was a preorder system, and they told me that they didn't even offer that price for strawberries. Instead, they tried to sell me 8 strawberries and a bottle of wine for $70.00. For $10.00, I could get TWO strawberries. It felt like a bait and switch game. Furthermore, having to speak with the front desk about the little "surprise" blew the surprise entirely.
The room was very nice, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was cramped. The water pressure was not adequate, and the toilet had troubles flushing. Fortunately, our romantic outing was not spoiled by the shoddy service and the incompetent staff.
The day we checked out, I spoke with the manager on duty who also was unaware of the existence of a preorder system. He was apologetic, but offered to take no action to remedy the situation. After a call to the Hilton customer service center, I was contacted the next day by the hotel manager and offered a coupon for a free stay. Maybe next time there will be strawberries waiting for us at check-in.

I just got back from a business trip to Little Rock, and stayed here because it has been recently renovated, and it had free airport shuttle (plus a very convenient location - to the airport, to downtown, and to the 630/430 business center area). The hotel definitely looks a ton better than before the renovation - I stayed here right before they closed it down to renovate, and it needed it.
The grounds and main common areas do look nice, the rooms look great (see attached pictures), but they need to spend some time cleaning up the hallways. I was really impressed with the condition of the rooms - new everything - beds, furniture, carpeting, bathrooms. The bathrooms are small, but they are nicely redone - they even have the new bathtubs that have the air jets in the bottom that you have the option to use. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, as was the desk chair (although the desk is right next to the wall a/c unit, so it blows cold air on you while you are working). Nice new TV as well.
I tried the restaurant for both breakfast (OK), and dinner (not too good). The breakfast is pretty much 1 selection - the breakfast buffet. The buffet selection is decent - fruit, cereal, rolls, eggs, bacon (THAT was wonderful - thick pepper bacon - best I've had...that's why I went back for breakfast the 2nd day), biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and oatmeal. Caveat emptor - juice and coffee are extra - they aren't part of the buffet, so breakfast was $15 plus tip. Dinner was ok, but there was no one there, and it was just normal hotel food - not bad, but nothing special.
The hotel staff capabilities - across the board - at this hotel were very interesting. Everyone I dealt with - front desk, maintenance, restaurant, shuttle were all EXTREMELY friendly and kind. But almost to a person (it's probably due to the management style or something) kind of not understanding common customer service. It's like they were all brand new, starting that day. I didn't have any problems or negative experiences (again - everyone was polite and kind), but you'd ask the most basic of questions at the front desk and they would look at you with a quizzical look; or you would be sitting in the restaurant and happen to look up and there wouldn't be ANY waitstaff in sight - it was the most amazing thing, and having eaten there 3 meals, it happened each time - I've never seen anything like that. Once you could get their attention, they were as nice and helpful as could be, but it would take them forever to handle the simplest of requests (could I have some more tomato sauce - took 10 minutes, and it was heated up stewed tomatoes!). Enough...you get the point.
As stated earlier, the location is great, they have shuttle to and from the airport, the look is nice, the rooms are great, but just be patient. I was surprised at the rates ($149 per night), but everything around was that expensive too. I'd stay here again, but just make plans to eat elsewhere. Also, the free internet is very nice, although it is not the highest speed you will ever see.

I just returned from a two night business trip at this hotel. I usually stay at the Peabody, but it was not available. The hilton has been redone, but it is not up to current standards. Bathrooms are tiny. The entire hotel smells like whatever is cooking in the kitchen. It looks like they did their best with an old property, but it just didn't work. The one positive is that they have free high seed internet in the rooms which is nice. The food is awful. We had dinner there one night and breakfast once. Would not stay there again!
