Nice Hotel in the Area
Guest name: CaribbeanSoul, Georgia
We stayed at this hotel twice in about a month, first in June on a Saturday night and then in July on a Thursday night. The only reason I make this note is for the Executive Level rooms and the lounge on this floor.
First, the hotel is a nice Hilton. It's located overlooking the 385 interstate and on the other side of the road is a mall. It has a nice lobby area for relaxing in the evening along with a lounge & restaurant. We did eat in the restaurant one night and there was mixed opinions from bland to good food. Depends on what you ordered, however the service was great and nice atmosphere.
The rooms were nice both times, and since I am a Diamond VIP, I was upgraded to 9th floor the first time, and to a speical Honors upgraded room on the 6th floor the second time, which was a nice corner room. The bed was comfortable and the room was good sized. Bath robes were in the closet along with the usual coffee makers. The room was quiet as we did not hear others around us, but could also be because we were at the end of the hallway and only had a room on one side of us.
The issue we had was around the executive lounge at this location and would not make any difference to those who did not stay on the 9th floor or given lounge access from other floors. But for the VIP members, this lounge is one that has started charging for alcoholic drinks. This may be a trend that Hilton is starting, as I am not sure, but it does take away from one of the reasons we stay at Hilton hotels enough to maintain Diamond Status. They also only offer drinks & horderves during the week, Monday - Thursday evenings. I was also disappointed in the breakfast. The first time we stayed on a weekend, there was only cold food, but the second time on a Thursday night, we found the same thing on Friday morning. It seems the things you normally expect to get in the executive floor lounge are not there or you have to pay extra for them. While this is just a small complaint to many, it is something VIP member do expect when staying at a HIlton with an executive floor.
If you do not plan on staying in the executive level, by all means it's a nice hotel in a nice area and I would recommend it to others.
Great choice!

Enjoyed our overnight stay At the Greenville Hilton very much - very nicely renovated property - spacious room with every ammenity - stylish decor - nice linens. Our room was on alow floor on top of a roof but the roof was covered in shingle rendering it somewhat more attractive- clever idea!! The hotel has free wireless (worked great) and tons of free parking. The staff were very helpful and clearly proud of their hotel and the town of Greenville (rightly so - its a wonderful town) - we will most likely stay there again (especailly for the total price of $90 thru' hotwire.com!) but will also consider The brand new Hampton Inn on the river downtown or The Westin (historical hotel downtown) because you can walk to everything from those hotels (but they cost twice as much as we paid at Hilton!) - whereas the Hilton is a 5 minute drive to downtwn. All-in-all - a very good experience!

We were visiting relatives in Greenville for Thanksgiving and stayed here.
Though not a luxury hotel, this place is very good. With weekend rates (non business days) this was an incredible deal. Even at regular prices this place gives great bang for the buck.
The room was very nice; the bed was incredibly comfortable. Even the restaurant in the lobby bar at a really off-hour served decent food at reasonable prices.
The indoor pool was good (at least according to our son) and the adjacent work-out room, though a bit worn, was still quite serviceable. The only thing that stops me from giving this hotel 5 stars was the shower in the men's area near the workout room. One would expect some kind of pump soap dispenser, not a used bar of soap with hair on it. Gross.
With that caveat, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We went to stay at the Hilton for the second night of a weekend trip because of an unpleasant stay at the Savannah Suites in Greenville. The hotel was amazing. The staff was most helpful. My Husband was in a wedding and we needed to check in early. Unfortunately, our room was not ready in time for him to get ready. The staff had a key made to the fitness room so he could get ready there instead.
The beds were so extremely comfortable! We will definately stay at the Hilton again when we return to Greenville, South Carolina.

My wife and I stayed here last weekend. The entire facility is smoke-free. The room we stayed in on the 8th floor was spotless, large and well appointed with excellent beds. The staff were attentive and helpful. There is ample free parking. The indoor pool, fitness facility and business area were very nice as well. I think that this is a good choice if you have a car and want to stay outside of the downtown area.
