Great Place to Stay in Hershey

My family and I just completed a 4 day stay at the Homewood Suites. The hotel is clean, staff is courteous, and the free breakfasts saved our family a lot of time in the morning. The hotel is located near a mall, with a couple of quality restaurants surrounding it.
The hotel location is perfect if you want to be in proximity of Gettysburg, Lancaster, and Hershey. Travelling with a 3 year old, the 15 minute drive between the hotel and Hersey Park came in handy at the right times.
In short, I wouldn't consider the Homewood Hershey if your plan is to hang around the hotel all day. I would recommend it if you're interested in using it as a home base for visiting the various points of interest in that part of PA.

Our family of 5 stayed at the Homewood Suites July 14-16, 2008. Plenty of room for everyone and our teens enjoyed it. The hotel is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size, extremely clean (and I'm very picky), and have everything you'll need. The continental breakfast was your standard fare: muffins, toast, cereal, bacon, sausage, waffles, eggs.
Easy and close access to Hershey Park (about a 15 minute drive). Nearby restaurants, shopping. This is the place to stay and I would definitely return to this Homewood Suites.

We are so pleased with made the decision to stay here for one night on our recent trip to Hershey Park. Other standard rooms were only slightly lower in price, so for the money it is worth having a room with seperate bedroom and kitchenette.
We went to Hershey the night before doing the preview of the park...and upon leaving late at night realized food choices were limited...
We really appreciated the 24 hr hotel store being opened as we were able to buy soup, microwave pizza, some snacks and drinks!
I would highly recommend this location for your trip to Hershey as it is only few miles away...
Very nice staff!

Stayed here 7/9-10 while on vacation. Location to Hershey Park was great. Mall close by, Ruby Tuesday/ and Mexican restaurant next door. 2 Big rooms with king in one, and 2 queens in another across a "family room" with sitting area/ full kitchen. 2 clean large baths/ tastefully done. I think this place, along with my family is the almost perfect place to go. Breakfast is processed, and if you get there late, almost gone. But for $290 an night I found this spin off of the Hilton group to be the most perfect for myself/wife and 3 young teenagers. What could you ask for, 2 baths, 3 TV's, and basically 3 rooms? I reallllly like Homewood. (first stay)

We just returned from a three day stay in the area. The hotel was an excellent value. This was our first stay at Homewood Suites and our third trip to Hershey. Easy commute to the park. This area is congested, but it offered lots to do such as restaurants within walking distance, gas/convenient stores, the mall, etc. We would stay here again.
We booked two rooms. One was a two bedroom suite that slept 4 adults and 4 kids. There were twelve in our party all together. The rooms were very nice and clean, beds comfortable, and the A/C nice and cold. Neutrogena toiletries and a complimentary hot breakfast were nice touches. The staff were friendly and helpful, the kids loved the pool and lobby area. The only complaint that I could possibly make is that the coffee was weak, but I like full-bodied coffee and darker roasts.
