Room was clean with slightly outdated decorating. Some furnishings a little worn. Staff was very efficient and friendly.

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Homewood Suites, Grand Rapids in December. The hotel was slightly off 28th St., which made it quiet and peaceful. The suite we booked was very clean, with a separate bedroom and bath. The pool area and hot tub was attractive and well maintained. We missed the Manager's reception in the late afternoon but the morning breakfast was fabulous. There were hot entrees, cereal, yogurt, cottage cheese, HB eggs, waffles, muffins, toast, juice and great coffee (and real cups!) We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here 3 nights while on a business trip. As in most all Homewood's I've stayed in, this was was extremely nice and homey. Very well kept and feel a bit like home when I'm out on the road; very nice and responsive staff. Location is quite convenient to the Gerald Ford Airport and on busy 28th Ave (M-11), but set back off the road so you don't ever hear traffic noise, and tons of restaurants & shops just down the street. Their whirpool is one of the nicest I've ever had the pleasure of soaking in too--nice pool also. Would stay here everytime I come to GR from now on!
