Very nice hotel

We have stayed here a few times over the last 3 years. The trips were all for business. This property accepts pets and this is one reason I chose it. It is a very nice hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They serve a nice breakfast including eggs, meat, grits, etc. We ate the breakfast most mornings and it was good. They serve a meal in the evenings during the week, but we never ate dinner here. We would stay here again.

I had guest coming to B'ham for three nights and needed something nice, close to shopping, and roomy. This was the perfect location. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. Free parking was available for guest and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic! Each room had a small kitchen available and a nice eating area for guest to enjoy eating in the comfort of their room. Here's the great part...... There is a DVD player in the rooms! We were able to go to the local Blockbuster which was right up the street to purchase and rent movies for the weekend! There is also a bag of popcorn in the rooms! Don't forget to visit the Summit!

I stayed here for some races at Barber Motorsports Park, which I attend every year. This place was a great value - nice room, nice staff (including Gail, the manager). They are VERY focused on customer satisfaction. I will NEVER stay anywhere else in the Birmingham area.

I booked this hotel for a night based on the TA reviews. I also liked the fact that it is a relatively new hotel. I got a little lost on my approach, but when I called the front desk for directions, a wonderful woman I think named Gail literally talked me right to the front door of the hotel. It is tucked away adjacent to a woodsy office park and made for a nice late afternoon jog. The place looks and smells new. My second floor room was perfect - clean with a desk for working, small sofa and kitchen. I was glad to see that the windows actually opened - so many of the new hotels don't have windows that open and that makes me feel claustrophobic. The workout room was okay, but needed a machine for arms. The location is fantastic - just down the road from that great Summit shopping center. Also, of the 4 properties I queried, this was the best price. I would definately stay here again.

We booked a one bedroom suite at Homewood Suites for three nights based upon the reviews in Trip Advisor. The hotel is a bit hard to find, tucked up on a hilltop behind a high end strip mall, but once we finally found it the stay could not have been nicer. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make us comfortable , providing us with local information and Patricia even printed directions to the "best barbeque" in the area. In the evening, there is a light meal with beverages. Buffet breakfasts were very appealing featuring eggs,sausages or ham,cereal,fruits,yoghurt, do-it-yourself waffles, etc.all of good quality. The rooms were clean and very well appointed with granite countertops in the kitchen and bath, comfortable beds, a chair suitable for long hours at the computer, kitchens with dishwashers, full sized refrigerators, microwave and two burners.There was no oven. A business center allowed me to check my e-mail and print my boarding passes. Upon check out we met the general manager who was as charming as her property .
