Choose this hotel for short or long term stays. The cost included a large, hot breakfast and lasagna, salad, beer & wine for dinner. (Dinner is provided Monday-Thursday evenings.) For a family of 5, this proved to be a great deal. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Very clean and friendly. Close to the airport, but we never heard a plane. Free shuttle to mall, airport, etc. No question, it was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had!

We had a wonderful stay at Homestead!. I would move in if I could. Arrived after a long drive from Toronto. Check in was quick & easy. Noticed the coffee station (Starbucks) and a lady was putting out some burger buns for guest to help themselves to burgers, beer on tap & wine. Asked the lady if she needed a room no. for our coffees and she explained it was all included in the price. Great value and the seating area + serving area was clean. Arrived in our room and was impressed by the standard & cleanliness. They even had a small dishwasher. Bedroom size was great and enjoyed the separate room. Used the pull out sofa which was comfortable. This hotel offers fantastic value for money along with free internet.
Thanks Homestead for providing a home away from home.

Fantastic Experience at Homewood Suites Albany

We wanted to visit a LL Bean store and chose Albany. The Homewood Suites in Albany is located just down the road from LL Bean, near the airport. I heard planes overhead while parking the car, but never in our room.
We had decided the week earlier that we were going to go to Albany. The representative of LL Bean suggested Homewood Suites so we checked it out on the internet. It looked good so we booked. We ended up getting a two bedroom suite for $169 plus all the taxes.
Check-in was easy. We had no problem getting 4 keys. Parking is free.
The suite was huge. Two Queen-size beds in one room, a king in the other. A bathroom in each room. A sleep couch in the livingroom. TVs in all rooms. I always bring my lysol wipes with me to a hotel, but this time I forgot to use them. The room was so clean that I would have eaten something that fell on the floor. The livingroom floor is either hardwood or laminate (I didn't look that hard). There is also a fridge, two burner stove and a microwave (complimentary popcorn too).
The shower had excellent pressure. The only complaint there was that the nozzle didn't move and it was pointed straight down. Their complimentary products are neutrogena, which I love.
The curtains keep the room very dark.
The complimentary breakfast in the morning is very good. There is a wide selection of eggs (omlette, hard boiled, scrambled), bread, fruit, yoghurt, sweets, coffee and flavouring, sausages, homefries and juice. The "hosts" are great at clearing the tables and keeping things moving. Too bad there is no way to tip them.
The only negative we had was that my in-laws who travelled with us roasted at night and we froze. We never investigated the reason behind this because we were only staying the one night.
It's a rather wide hotel. It's a fair hike to some of the rooms. It would have been better for us to have driven to the other side of the hotel and gone up in that elevator than to have taken all of our stuff on a grand tour of the hotel.
It's not an elegant hotel, but it's a fantastic spot. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is conveniently located off the highway. It is close to many shops and restaurants.
The suite was clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, cups, plates, etc.
The bathroom fixtures were a little worn, but the bathroom very clean--no signs of mold or mildew.
The staff was very friendly.
The breakfast provided in the morning is a nice touch. The only problem I noticed was that the seating was very limited. Perhaps it was just a sudden rush of guests arriving at the same time, but some people could not find seating.
Overall, clean and comfortable place to stay.
