As the previous reviews have said this a lovely B&B. Our deluxe room had a seaview (allbeit between two buildings). Very friendly and clean with the standard of breakfast expected of this rating of hotel.
The car park, at a squeeze, would hold 10 vehicles, which is a plus in St Malo.
We have previously stayed at the other end of of boulevard Hebert, which is more convenient for restaurants, especially if it is raining!
Yes, we would definitely stay there again.

My husband, daughter (6) and I had the pleasure of spending five nights at the beginning of May in the wonderful Hotel Villefromoy. We were impressed from the moment of arrival. The welcome was very friendly and the hotel was utterly charming and spotless. Breakfast was a lovely, calm affair with a great choice, and the breakfast room cool and accessorised by someone with flair and an eye for detail. An extra bed had been put in our room for our daughter and both it and our gigantic double bed were extremely comfortable. The building is Second Empire, but the furnishings and fittings are modern, almost minimalist. The marriage of the two styles works extraordinarily well. There was not a speck of dust to be seen anywhere throughout the hotel, and the bathroom in particular was gleaming. The salon on the first floor had a sea-view, and an atmosphere of peace and calm, while the small terrace near reception was a perfect spot for a post-dinner cognac. We're all looking forward to returning.

Loved this hotel! We got a suite overlooking the ocean , everything was well appointed and i couldnt think of anything we might have wanted that was not there (bathrobe, slippers, toiletries, books to read.. you name it). Staff was excellent -helpful, patient and most important always smiling. We could relax on the elegant and cosy lobby, had a tea by the fireplace after dinner : lovely! The only thing i regret was we stayed not long enough. This was one of our best hotel experiences ever!

We spent a couple of days in this nice and calm hotel. It is situated in a very calm and classy residential area. It is only a few steps to the amazing seafront and beach of Saint Malo. The centre however is quite far walking (though it's a very nice walk along the seafront) but there are some nice restaurants and also a couple of shops in a walking distance.
With the window of our room open we could here the sound of the waves. Enjoyed this very much!
The hotel has a very calm and cosy atmosphere. Its tastefully furbished and delivers calmness and a relaxing seaside atmosphere. The parlor with bar is a perfect place to read a good book or to play a game.
Rooms are very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The only thing we were missing in the room was a place to put a suitcase on.
Staff was helpful and polite. Price is not a bargain but what you get is worth it.

First of all, we loved Saint-Malo and we recommend it to people who like sun, sea and wind and simply experiencing things. La Villefromoy is a very nice hotel, remarcably quiet and with good, friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and the hotel had been evidently recently refurbished - this is a plus in French hotels as they seem to get refurbished a lot less often than hotels in the rest of Western Europe. We definitely recommend it, but only if you love to take long walks on the shore - the hotel is about an hour's walk from the Old Town where the restaurants, cafes nad most other tourist attractions are. It is a lovely walk though and we found it an excellent way to get rid of a bit of guilt after having copious dinners with good wine.
