I attended a conference at this hotel, then stayed a further two nights to have a look around.
I had a room at the front of the hotel, with a wonderful view over the Bay of Naples. The room was spacious and comfortable. It could be a bit noisey at the front, but the view is exceptional.
The breakfast is in the restaurant on the sixth floor, with an opportunity to have you to sit on the balcony and appreciate the wonderful views. The bar has the same views.
It was about half an hour walk to the palace. An underground station is near by (ask reception about the shortcut to the station down some steps).
Room service was limited to the restaurant menu, which was a bit expensive, and a few sandwiches. Most expensive mini bar I have seen - 5 euros for some peanuts!
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommed.

Hotel is around a 25 minute drive from the airport. Taxi fares vary from E25 to E45.
Check in is poor and the check-in staff have a bad attitude. Unfriendly welcome and the concierge didn't even offer to take bags to the room.
Get a seaview room as the ones at the back have no view at all. Aircon in the room did not work so very warm even in April.
Room was functional and rack rate E360 room only; seaview rooms more expensive.
Good sized bathroom but no bathrobes and not even a box of tissues. Lightbulbs didn't work. Guest guide not extensive.
Great views from the rooftop bar and restaurant across to Capri. Staff in bar and restaurant didn't have a great attitude either. Food was average. Bar ran out of red wine on first night of stay.
I was at a conference and the measure for me is "would I take the family back there another time?" the answer, I'm afraid is "no".
There must be better options than this for the money in this area.
Visit the rooftop bar for the view and stay somewhere else is my advice.

My husband and I stayed one night at GH Parker's in Naples. We had spent the previous three nights in Positano but headed south as to catch a flight back to the States. I had heard bad things about Naples that were so true. The city is disgusting and I highly recommend you not spend time there. I was hoping staying in a 5 star hotel would make up for the disappointment of the city. The hotel is beautiful, but definitely not worth whatever it was we spent on it. The people at the front desk were rude, our room wasn't ready and they were late with our wake-up call. It was a huge let down. My husband is from Chicago and I'm from Philadelphia and we have stayed in nice hotels before. GH Parker's is not one of them.

This is not a five star hotel. It is very expensive and not worth it. It is pretty shabby in parts and our bedroom was small and very basic. The bathroom was very dated with only a COLD shower and no bath or even a towel rail! The only good thing about this hotel is the restaurant.

So, I booked this hotel last minute, but seeing as how it was completely empty, you think they would have given me a better room. I mean, I know it is not the time of year to visit Naples, but it was like a ghost hotel. That made it really depressing. I didn't see a single other guest the entire time. And I understand why...
It was overpriced for what it was. I think, once upon a time, maybe like 30 years ago, it could have passed for a four-star hotel, but now, seeing as how it is in disrepair (probably because no one stays here), it barely passes as a three star hotel.
The room is average size, with a terrible view. Maybe I could have switched rooms, considering no one else was staying...but you think they would have just offered me that initially...horrible hospitality if you ask me. I mean, in an empty hotel, why offer me a view of another building?
The sheets are hard and scratchy, the bed creaks, and the mattress is hard. Everything is horribly dated. There is not even a bath...only a not-so-great shower.
The gym is not horrible, but not great. To be fair, I am not sure what European gyms are normally like...and they did open it specifically for me (since there were no other guests).
There is nothing to do in the area at all. Nothing during the day. Nothing during the night. It was supposedly walking distance (about a mile or more) to some nightlife spots, but I didn't find them...boring area.
It was just really depressing. Just because it has a 20" LCD TV doesn't make it a 5-star hotel. I have no idea who has been rating this crappy hotel.
