We were really pleased with this hotel tucked away in the courtyard. Doesn't look much from the outside as entrance is so small and main road is in the 'edgier' part of town so really surprising to see how plush it was on the inside The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the room was cosy and comfortable. It was really central for reaching the town and we found it very quiet at night.

We arrived by car in Segovia without a hotel booking and priced several hotels in the old city centre before settling on the Corregidor which is near the aqueduct. Price and the availability of free car parking were key factors. It is only a 10 minute walk to the city centre and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. We ate in the hotel restaurant which, on the night we were there, only offered a limited, set choice menu of very ordinary fare, but the price for 3 courses and wine was an amazingly low 8.50 euro per person. Not a gourmet experience but satisfying. The room was near the reception with no view, was a little tired but comfortable enough. At 80 euro for a triple bed room (3 adults) it would have been overpriced if not for the free carparking.

Friendly hotel, competitively priced, very well located with the old city and Roman aqueduct a short walk away.
We were able to park on the road right in front of the hotel, and the room was perfectly adequate as a base for exploring.
Helpful staff at reception.
