1. stayed in this hotel in November we booked off internet, we had a twin room, with a crappy shower which had grime all round it the bathroom was like a cupboard- the room was tiny! the decor didnt match and the windows wouldn'y open and the heating was on full blast- i sent my partner down to get extra pillows as the beds weren't comfortable- so hard that you wouldnt bounce off the bed if you jumped on them the second night my back was in so much pain that i decided to change rooms -reception gave me a key to look at an on suite which was 30-for the extra two nights the en-suite was huge with a leather seatee table and chairs, a massive corner bath and the bathroom was huge with a heated towel rail, but unfortunately again the beds although were two doubles and spacious were still hard the matresses were absolutely hard as nails had to sleep the rest of the two nights on the leather sofa as my back was really bad breakfast was rubbish so only ate once out of the three days the games room was where i spent most of my nights and took advantage of the cocktails ended up having loads too drink ! the meals in the restaurant were nice but £15 per meal as when you ordered the main course you then had to order a side order to go with your dinner just as well as we ordered side orders because otherwise we would have just ended up with a chicken! and nothing else! the hotel itself is not central so have to travel by tube which isnt to much of a problem, but if i went to prague again i would stay centrally would never stay at this hotel again as a member of staff was rude to my partner as he asked for a blanket for the room and she had a right go at him!! not sure if i would go back to prague, i changed £50 and ended up being charged £15 just to change it at the exchange desk over there!!! madness!!! debbie x

this is a shame that no-one has written a review of this hotel since august 12,2006. i had a superior double room really large room nice modern furniture with a foyer , two bathrooms and a large terrace with two beachchairs and a view of the prague castle i n the distance. for some the hotel is outside the city but there is excellent shuttle service to the subway or prague castle or you can walk to the subway at a slow pace about 25 minutes. the breakfast excellent the same for dinner. again if you don't mind being outside the city but crave comfort at a five star level i was charge charge 143 euros full breakfast and tax included - then i would say stay here (the rate would be double if this hotel were downtown). nice staff -- i recommend this hotel highly.

I have to admit that this Hotel is not central to Prague but the Transport is excellent. We were given a room that seemed to be in a time warp.......the toilet was so narrow that yours knees touched the wall when sitting on the loo. The Shower was of the same dimensions..bijou to say the least. The room was without air conditioning and they supplied a fan which was off little good. Breakfast was generous and the quality reasonable. I stood in front of two receptionists and being aware that they were in the middle of something, I let them get on with it. When they had completed what they were doing, I expected at least one of the receptionists, to attend to me...........fat chance. They walked away and I had to search for a manager to get some attention at reception. We made the mistake of buying two beers twice, at one of the hotel bar, two different prices and a considerable difference in price. BTW same beer.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr schoenes Ambiente, wenn auch etwas im Stil der 70er geblieben. Gute lokae Kueche.
