The room was disgusting!! There was a sign on the side outside door explaining they were renovating, but they need to close it down to renovate. I would not take my socks off of my feet because the carpet was so stained and nasty. The TV was nice and the sheets seemed clean, but I felt "buggy" all night. It was very loud, you could hear people coming and going all night. I did not want to use the toilet. For $15.00 dollars more we stayed at a much cleaner motel the next night. YUCK

I arrived at my "non-smoking" room late at night. I opened the door and was nearly overwhelmed by the stench of stale cigarette smoke not quite masked by too much air freshener. There were cigarette burns on the carpet and on the furniture. Exhausted, I went to sleep.
The next morning, I tried to call the front desk to complain -- the phone did not work.
I tried to get on the internet, "high-speed"? Nope! between 8 and 45% packet loss and ping times averaging 750!!!! I spent the remainder of the day looking for another hotel, but because of the refugees from New Orleans, there are no vacancies!
The next morning I had a headache from the stale cigarette smoke.
People over at the post told me that I HAD to get out of the hotel, but I told them I could not find a vacancy anywhere. They offered to have me come to their house to stay.
