Had the feeling of the place been very old out of date. Hotel had no lift and dimly lit, in ok location though, we had a large room at top of building stairs very difficult. Didnt have breakfast.

We were travelling with 3 kids. Hotel was one of the few which could accomodate all of us in one room. We stayed in a quadruple and had an extra bed - room was large enough with ensuite bathroom. Room on top floor (63 steps with no lift)
Kids loved the sweets in the reception area. Staff corteus and very helpful. There is a mini-market just a few metres down the road, a Mc Donalds down the same road, and an Italian Restaurant just in front. Close by on the mainroad is a shop selling great baguettes.
Decor is rather out of date but room and bathroom were cleaned daily. Situated within walking distance from Eiffel Tower and Arc De Triomphe.
Breakfast buffet consisted of bread, cereals juice, milk, yoghurts, jams, cheese ham etc. tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Would definitely consider if were were to visit Paris again.

Although the location of this hotel was nice, the hotel was horrible, it must have not been upgraded for the past 100 years. DO NOT stay in this hotel.

We are a family with small children from NJ, USA.
Positives:
(1) The best thing about it is it is one of the affordable quad room hotels in Trocadero location (which is walking distance from Eiffel tower, Arc de Triomphe as well as the starting point for Red Bus service).
(2) The Staff were very pleasant , helpful, efficient and courteous.
(3) The Room and toilet were spacious and clean. Efficiently maintained every day.
(4) Shower was good with hot water, hand shower etc.
(5) Breakfast buffet at 9 euros is a steal compared to prices outside. They also did not charge for our children. They have good indoor seating as well as a nice garden seating.
(6) Nice Italian restaurant in the front of this hotel if you get bored with the zillion other french restaurants.
(7) Strawberries in the corner fruit shop were ultimate. My daughter consumed a pound a day and proclaimed herself to be a "Strawbery Girl".
Negatives:
(1) We were in third floor (fourth by USA standard) with no elevator.
(2) No A/C. We had to keep the window open at night and endure some road noise. Gave my kids the city living experience they lack :)
(3) Did not have alarm clock, iron stand etc. (the wake up call was prompt, though)
Overall,
If you are visiting Paris for sight seeing and it is not summer, We would recommend you give this a serious look.
