Fair value - but - bedbugs?

Stayed here in August 2006. Booked the 1 bedroom apartment (the studios are very very small). Apartment was clean and functional. Kitchen is fine - includes dishwasher and dishes, everything you need. The room is designed for function, not style. Everything is a little dated, but it works.
Room had a balcony, and overlooks a rather busy road and the canal, but was quiet. Gets 2 english channels and also gets a bunch of arab, spanish, and italian channels in addition to normal french channels.
Only issue we had was the following: On day 4 of our stay, we noticed that we had little red marks on us. Bedbugs? Gnats? We were leaving the window open at night for air.
More knowledgeable travellers said it wasn't bedbug bites, but I am suspicious. We took the covers off the bed and washed the sheets twice. I didn't see anything in the bed, and we had no issues for the next 3 days.
Hotel staff was very helpful. Laundry is expensive here but there is no local alternative that works better.
There is quite a bit to do in Toulouse and the surrounding area. We will return to toulouse, but I don't know about staying here again.

Ho alloggiato in quest’hotel nell’agosto 2006.
Centrally located apartment with parking

We stayed in Toulouse for three nights in June. The apartment block was easily located, only a few blocks from the railway station and near Halle aux Grains. There is a laundry downstairs and an internally accessed, security car park (free on Saturday and Sunday). The Reception staff spoke English and were helpful. The Recption was not manned 24 hour.
We had a one bedroom apartment for 120e - you can get a studio cheaper. We thought that was excellent value for such a central location in a big city. The apartment was air conditoned, although you have no control over temperature, the air was always fresh. It had a soft King size bed and soft pillows, good robe space in the small, white walled bedroom. There was a hall cupboard with vacuum, Internet access, desk, divan, table and two chairs and excellent water pressure. It was quiet and rather nice, although compact. There was a separate loo, bathroom and also a small balcony with a bridge and cannel view. The kitchen had two hot plates, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. There was plenty of china and cutlery. We enjoyed self catering (much cheaper than eating out) and there were several Seven Eleven type stores nearby that sold everything including lovely fresh vegetables and fruit. We also enjoyed a Sunday open air market nearby outside a church.
