Although the hotel is in a side street. It was not difficult to find. It is so close to the centre that it is easy to walk everywhere in Albi that you would want to go. Our room was excellent, large, clean quiet with a 6ft bed that was very comfortable and very very quiet. Breakfast was good but expensive 15 euros per person. I would usually prefer to go a local bar for a cafe creme. I would definately stay again. Everyone of the staff were excellent - even the night porter wanted to chat about our evening! The car parking is a bonus, safe and cheeper than the local car parks.

Un trés bon séjour dans un hotel agréable et charmant, en plein coeur d'Albi. Tout s'est trés bien passé, et le personnel est extrémement agréable. J'y retournerais avec plaisir.

We had high expectations when we booked this hotel as it apparently had a four star rating. Albi does not have a plethora of fine hotels so the Saint Antoine is probably above average for Albi but below average for hotels having a four star rating. The hotel was somewhat difficult to find and once found it certainly lacked "curb appeal" as it was located on a small one way street. It wasn't a bad location and the room - very small for a four star was also very quiet. The restaurant wasn't open (early May, 2007) which was a disappointment. When we were checking out the clerk asked if we had anything from the mini-bar. We weren't aware that there was a mini bar as we certainly didn't notice one in the room - or a room safe either. The front desk staff were extremely friendly but the hotel itself was a disappointment in that we were expecting a four start hotel. I would rate the St.Antoine somewhere between 2 and three stars.
