Just returned from a 2 day trip to Benidorm and stayed at the Belroy. Built in the 70's this hotel has recently undergone a major refit, with modern, large rooms which are clean and comfortable. Reception is a large glass fronted recently built addition. Spent 2 afternoons with friends enjoying wine and the fantastic tapas (expensive but worth every Euro) around the pool area. We also enjoyed the breakfast but they could do with some more coffee machines.Great upmarket hotel in the not so upmarket Benidorm.

We had a fantastic stay at the Belroy - booked 3 nights and ended up staying for 7!! Location was good, room was spotless - some may not like the minimalist decor, but we liked it. We had dinner one night, which was a bit disappointing, but typical hotel dinner buffet. Breakfasts were great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and go back.

We stayed at The Belroy from Boxing Day for five nights in the Hotel. I must say we were treated very well, the staff were fantastic - though we always smile at people, it makes a difference!!! The reception was very friendly, the room although minimilist was without doubt spotlessly clean, overlooked the pool with partial sea view, very quiet!, very large and adequate, a large wall-mounted flat screen TV, lovely marble bathroom, perhaps could have done with a chest of drawers there or bedside drawers.... The staff couldn't do enough for us when we asked they get the Sauna Jacuzzi ready for us, Indoor pool very warm - what bliss! The food in the Dining Room was fantastic, catered for everyone, even roast beef and Y Puds. Fresh grilled chicken, lots of fish and loads of fresh vegetables...starters were great too. The sweets to die for... lovely baked apple, rice pudding and every fresh fruit you could think of....we are very fussy and normally eat out but no way would we do this here and miss out on the wonderful food!!! Pepe's Bar does belong to the hotel and is a nightclub - free entry to resident's, can be reached through Hotel or at front entrance where you show your room card to gain 'Free' entry, very popular with the well-heeled, place to be seen if you want that but you don't have to, there are other bars and hotels close by for drinks but you don't have the benefit of the good food at the hotel, I would say it is a great Winter Hotel! we would certainly use it again, loved the 'BEST' position just one block from the 'Noisy' front and near the Old Town with desirable shops. The Cafe De Paris is also attached to the Hotel for food and coffee so there is no way you are without a drink at any age.! Maureen and Ron Sheppard Shoreham-By-Sea, Sussex.

Arrived 28th dec for the new year, we came in september of this year and enjoyed it so much we wan:ted to come back. We was not sorry we loved it just as much. the appartment is like being in a flat, home from home and very clean , view great staff lovely and friendly. going back again very soon.
