Stayed here while driving from Houston to Louisville. Chose the hotel based on a previous experience at a Best Value Inn elsewhere and it was close to the Interstate. WiFi was restricted to only a few rooms but I had asked for a room with WiFi and was lucky. the air conditioning unit did not have any vents. The one member of staff I was exposed to was not the friendliest or happiest in her work. Smoking from the floor below mine entered the room through the bathroom vent. Had to keep the door closed. Would not stay here again.

Stopped in to this motel because it was late and there was a big traffic pile up on the interstate. I travel extensively and my budget doesn't allow me to stay at many high dollar hotels. I have stayed at many motel in this price range and NEVER one that was this nice for $54.39 total. I was surprised to find my room was clean, and had very nice furniture and has both a microwave and refrigerator. The property was very quite and well kept. I slept great and the shower was one of the best I have ever had on the road. I was even more surprised to find out that it was owned by Indians (usually those are crap holes). I spoke with the white manager who was VERY pleasant and had a beautiful smile. She makes the place! I was greatly incouraged by this chain and will look for the logo from now on.

It was raining, continuing to drive was not an option. I was on my way to GA for business. I stayed here because of the high speed internet. My business does not allow us to use WI-FI(for some stupid reason). I had a clean room at a good price. Ate breakfast before I left and was set for my trip.

Bait and Switch.. When I made my reservation today at 1 pm. I specifically asked if they had Wireless High Speed Internet. They said "Yes, we have internet" I said great and reserved my room. Upon arrival I wondered why my computer said "No networks within range" and I called the front desk. After about 15 minutes talking with the clueless desk clerk, I find out that their internet is not wireless but wired. They give me a six foot cable that will barely reach the bed from the wall jack, and I am given a sheet of instructions that tell me what I am allowed / not allowed to do on the internet. If you want to play online games, for example, you are out of luck. I paid them for two days but I will be checking out tomorrow. I hate being lied to.

I was recommended this site from a very nice Guest Relation Rep who checked me out this morning. I travel through Tuscaloosa several time a year and usually stay at higher priced places. I have seen this hotel before but never stayed. They have had a new resturant opened in front of them that I tried and just decided not to drive any further. Very nice place, clean and I enjoyed their pool area while doing some work. I will stay again and I found my new place in Tuscaloosa.
