We didn't know what to expect when we planned just a quick overnight stay in Alcoceber on our drive from Barcelona to Valencia. We were pleasantly surprised to find a cute little town and a nice hotel. The hotel itself was in a good location, a short walk to the beach or to the marina. The front desk was very helpful and allowed us to check in early. Our room was very clean and we had one of the most comfortable beds we had in Spain. The room was rather large as it had a small sofa and sitting room. The hotel pool was nice, although a little cold, and they offered free internet access in the bar and lobby. Although we were on vacation my husband brought his laptop to do some work. This was the only hotel that actually had free internet for us to use, the rest advertise internet, but you have to pay to use it. We had a half board booked, which we didn't know what it meant. After they explained that we got free dinner and breakfast we realized this was really a great deal as our room was only $100/night. The food was not great, dinner was allright and breakfast was pretty nasty. But the staff was nice and it certainly saved money to eat at the buffet and not have to scout a new place to go. I would stay in this hotel again and highly recommend it.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel en octobre 2007. La réservation a été faite par Internet pour un prix plus que correct (215 € pour 7 nuits en demi pension par personne). Avec un tel prix, nous ne nous attendions pas à un palace !! Première très bonne surprise, la "chambre" réservée était en fait une suite très spacieuse et très propre. Un beau salon avec coin cuisine équipé (Frigo, micro ondes, évier, hotte) donnait sur une belle terrasse (Table, chaises en rotin) avec vue sur le patio intérieur et la picine, une salle de bain spacieuse avec tout ce qu'il faut, même le sèche cheveux, une chambre avec un imense lit très confortable. Deux téléviseurs et un accès Internet haut débit gratuit complètent l'équipement. A ce niveau absolument rien à redire. La situation de l'hôtel est bonne, (proximité de plage, d'un bord de mer rocheux, du port de plaisance, du centre ville et de commerces (à des prix qui valent le coup de s'y attarder). Une note particulière à l'ensemble du personnel, très avenant, polyglotte, et toujours souriant. Un vaste buffet au petit déjeuner ne peut que satisfaire même les plus exigeants. Le diner (également sous forme de buffet) est d'un niveau légèrement inférieur aux autres prestations de l'hôtel mais pour valoriser celà, il faut tenir compte du rapport qualité/prix et dans ces conditions, on ne peut que dire que cet hôtel mérite d'être signalé et recommandé. Nous y retournerons certainement.
