It is a very nice hotel. Our room was lovely, done up in an Moroccan style. We had sea views. Sadly there is some other swimming pools in between and these ruined the view a bit.
The swimming pool for this hotel is being renovated at the moment, so isn't usable. I will be lovely when finished. We we asked the staff about this, they arranged for us to use a different pool at another hotel across the street. The pool was ok, but I wouldn't recommend that hotel. I feel this hotel is the best in the area.
I found the staff very nice and helpful. The breakfast was included and great - lots of fresh fruit, breads, cereal and hot food. They also make omelettes to order.
The area around the hotel is alright. Casablanca is not a rich city, and you can see this everywhere. But I felt safe here compared to some of the other areas we visited.

I was in Casablanca on business and prefer to stay at the beach rather than downtown. I chose a "superior single" with a view of the beach and a small balcony. This room is located in the newest section in the hotel and is quite lovely. There is free Internet access--even WIFI in the lobby---so for the business traveler it's great.
This particular room also overlooks the pool which is currently undergoing reconstruction. When the reconstruction is complete, this hotel will be even better.
The staff is terrific. The breakfast buffet, which was included in the cost of my room, was quite generous. The hotel restaurants are good, the best being the Basmane, which boasts Moroccan cuisine.
If you stay in a room on the street side, expect noise because the hotel is located where two major streets intersect. This will be true in any hotel in this area.
This is my third hotel in Casablanca and I will definitely return.
