Fabulous chic hotel in the centre of Madrid with very modern decor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served in the trendy cellar bar.

My stay at this hotel was great! The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very conveniently located, but set on a side street, which helped lower the noise level that is The free internet was also a plus. The manager was very kind and helpful, and even tolerated my mediocre attempts at Spanish (unusual for Spaniards).

Las Meninas is a cute little boutique hotel in the very centre of Madrid. It is ideal for sightseeing or shopping trips. I would not recommend it for business, the desk is really small to work on and the single rooms are rather small and a little dark, facing the patio.
I stayed there for 3 nights and it was clean and comfortable. The stylemix of new and old is really nice, the rooms are modern with a nice bathroom. Everything is a little on the small side, but this is Madrid.
I would not recommend to eat breakfast in the hotel. I did that once and it was really not good. Anyway you can have breakfast in every bar in Spain!
One thing that bothered me was the music in the corridors. The receptionist put the music on at 8 h in the morning on a sunday and it was so loud that I woke. I complained and the turned it off immediately. Music in corridors is not necessary and just bothering guest.
Great hotel if you get a twin room facing the street. But this is Madrid, the centre is a little noisy everywhere. If you like supersilent hotelrooms, better not stay in the centre. Madrid never sleeps.

This lovely hotel was a GEM in Madrid. Situated in the Opera section of the city, we were in close proximity to the Royal Palace and many historic sights. Thanks to some negative comments about hotels in the nearby areas, we found HOTEL MENINAS. We are so lucky we did. We were upgraded to room 501. The room was a suite with all the modern conveniences. In the lobby was free internet for guests. The small size (37 rooms) made this a quaint oasis in a large city. Nearby were several Tapas bars and fine restaurants. We travel a great deal and this was wonderful!

I stayed at this hotel for three nights in September from the 14th to the 17th. The hotel was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. We travelled extremely early on the Friday morning and the check in was extremely quick.
I had read a couple of reviews before I went that said that the hotel was noisy. The rooms are in fact soundproofed so it is not the sound from the adjoining rooms that you hear but noise from the corridor. We weren't too bothered about this as we had travelled to madrid to experience the amazing nightlife it has to offer. Maybe if you were wanting an early night or were light sleepers this hotel wouldn't be for you.
This hotel is set in the heart of madrid with everything you could wish on your doorstep. The rooms are extremely modern and minimalistic. The staff are more than helpful and the breakfast good. All in all an amazing hotel for anyone who wishes to sample the nightlife and also see a bit of the true character of Madrid during the day.
