I stayed at Sesimbra Hotel & Spa after Christmas 2006. The hotel may be a bit pricey, but it totally worth it! The rooms are huge, the toilets also very big and everything is very clean. They also have a great view to the sea. The facilities are great, and the decor very modern and beautiful, and most of all, very cosy. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, but it was very good. Lot's of choice and everything was very fresh. And you can have breakfast overviewing the sea, which is a great way to start your day. I also used the spa facilities, which were great (if you want a massage I advise you to book early), specially the sauna, I loved it!
The personnel are all very nice and friendly and they have great language skills - English and German is very well spoken here. If you go to Sesimbra (or even Lisbon - is not that far) bear in mind this hotel, you won't regret it.

We have just returned from the hotel and all we can say is it was superb. Although the service around the pool left a little bad taste in our mouths as did the cost of food and drinks at the hotel. in comparison with the cost of food in the town a cheese toasty and a glass of sprite was around 10 euros but in the town you can easily feed two people including drinks for the same amount. The beach was fantastic and the pool was amazing apart from alot of the tiles coming away in the deep end. The rooms were very modern and very spacious, the staff were very friendly and most spoke good english. Overall i would recommend this hotel to all. excellent for families and couples of all ages.
The hotel was a five minute walk from the town. No hills or huge amounts of steps.
The facilities in the spa were brilliant also and have a massage!!
We went with a group of 30 all family and none had any complaints apart from the cost of a gin and tonic!!! which was 13.50 euros for the gin and 2.50 for the tonic!!!!! AROUND £10 FOR ONE DRINK!!! so definately go but dont eat and drink just at the hotel. Try the local restaurants in the back streets and local wines etc. Oh and look out for the Dolphins!! we were treated to a rare and amazing display out at sea just across from the hotel.

The best seaside hotel with parking in Sesimbra

I stay at this hotel often for business. The rooms are well above European standards as they are very large, with a flat screen TV (movie channel in English most of the time) and a great bathroom. Every room has a sea view and the noise from outside is minimal if non-existent. Overall, very comfortable. I have always had an exceptionally clean room as well.
The staff is always courteous and the food, even though it is very expensive, has always been great.
Sesimbra, in the summer, is always busy and with nearly no decent parking at the Sana Park down the road, the Hotel and Spa is the best bet for a great location, new hotel with plenty of parking.
Enjoy your stay.

We went to Sesimbra Hotel & Spa for a company meeting round.
The room we were in was big, and very modern (cisco IP telephone, flatscreen on the wall). Much space for clothes, and much space for almost anything (3mt from the wall to the bed in every direction at least).
Sadly, the people from the bar have to get their act together. A 12€ hamburger is a bit much for even this type of hotel, and for that price, one can expect it to be hot. Even after a 35-minute wait before the 7 dishes of our group were ready. Even after asking the lady to get the pasta heated up, it still wasn't warm.
We were there to have meetings, and the meeting arrangements were perfect. Even when we needed something more (like a special phone for a group conference call), the staff was very willing to help us.
Staff is very fluent in English and French. And I guess Portuguese, as that's their native language.
