This place was below avarage to say the least. Tired, lacking any style and overpriced in my view. Lots of tour parties around and just lacking any character whatsoever. The location was decent but the rooms given the price ($150) were in a poor state. The air con rattled all night and overall we were not impressed. We had little choice but I suspect some of the local hostels offer much more fun and much better value for money. At least I hope so! We only had 1 night and for that I am glad.

A boring place with old decoration everywhere. 3 star to european standards and maybe 5 stars 30 years ago. Forget this place.

Little did I realize when I booked this hotel for $100/night that is was in fact a five star hotel. The room itself was probably the nicest of our three week South America trip. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools (with waterfalls), a health club, a games room and many more outdoor activities. When you book, make sure to have both breakfast and dinner included. There is really no where else to go for dinner and the complete buffet costs $20/night. The hotel is located at most 20 minutes from Iguauzu Falls and 30 minutes from the airport. I would definitely stay there again.
