For a pure beach holiday and total relaxation this hotel was ideal.
Our room looked out onto the sea and was absolutely amazing. We still look back now and are in awe of the views we had and the sound of the waves crashing. Fantastic.
The food was great although we only went bed and breakfast and because there were no other eating facilities in the vicinity, we ended up eating in the restaurant at dinner time which was a bit more expensive but still worth it.
The weather was amazing - it rained for 10 minutes in the fortnight we were there!!
2 down sides that I can think of for the hotel. The first is the language which can be tricky to understand but as you are in Brazil, this is not really a complaint.
Secondly, the hotel is halfway down the Via Costeaira which is basically a long straight road along the coast littered with hotels and nothing else. If you want shops and restaurants you need to get taxis and buses which are expensive/infrequent.
Overall, for a chillout fortnight, this was ideal and made the 9-hour flight well worth it. If you want anything other than this, you may want a hotel closer to amenities.
