The Hotel is in the city center well located and is very clean. The price is above average and the service doesn't meet expectation. Check in, after check in Hours took 30 Min, the heat was on even though the temperatura outside wasn't even close to need it and the hotel didn't want to change it and the sheets where smaller than the bed side and wasn't changed even after complainning.

I stayed there for six nights and must say that I was dissappointed. The inside of the hotel is ok but not what you think of a design hotel, the staff was friendly, the location is great. Unfortunately the breakfast was very poor, and hotel is noisy you can not imagine. I changed rooms after the first night without sleeping, stayed at 2nd floor overlooking the street first, where you imagine every bus and car to go through your bed. Moved to 7th floor then, like in bad movies we were straight looking to a grey wall then, which was only one meter from the window. Actually, it was a bit less noisy, then. There are a lot of hotels in that district which is perfect for a city trip, so better do not choose the Rochester Concept.

The website makes it look like a high-design boutique hotel. It is really a rundown property that the owners have dressed up with poorly constructed knock-offs of high-end design features. Specific Complaints: Rooms are tiny Very few outlets Bed Cover/quilt was stained and soiled Cable TV didn't work Paid three times their highest rack rate becausea convention was in town. Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else.

This is a wannabe Boutique hotel with a concept that has gone really really bad. I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out of the closet and punk me...wait, we had no closet. As you read this review, bear in mind that there was a medical convention in town and there were no rooms available in town. We were charged $310/night and i think the staff was embarrassed by this rate and it was an absurd amount to charge for the quality of the rooms. There were only 3 positives in the hotel for me so here are the good things: - Good location - Near the Florida shopping street - Since the hotel did not have an Iron and there was no dry cleaning. Since the bathroom was so small, it was the best bathroom I ever had to steam my clothing. - Good cleaning staff The Negatives: - 13 inch TV with horrible reception - Tiny room and with your suitcase , you'll have no space - No closet, it has a wierd standing wall unit that one if they tried hard enough, could call it a closet - No iron available in the hotel - Tiny shower with a half door that ensured that the floor got soaked - Noise, noise, noise you can hear everything from the pipes, to talking, to opening doors, people going to the bathroom, all noise outside, etc. - Limited electrical outlets - Limited internet connectivity and couldn't access company VPN The hotel was simply just bizarre, stay away.

This hotel is extremely disappointing. It's a typical wannabe designer hotel. The Rochester Concept is worn, torn, unclean and overpriced.
