Arrived here at 8pm with a confirmed booking and was told that they did not have a room for me (though they acknowledged my booking had been made) and they were transferring me by taxi to another hotel in their chain. I had particularly picked this hotel for its location close to a business meeting. The location of this hotel is excellent but the one they shipped me to was much less convenient and had a really tacky, plastic foyer with none of the 'extra' amenities advertised for the rooms here. I asked for a partial refund to allow for the difference in quality and was told that a manager would phone me to discuss - no one ever did, naturally. It should be said that two other couples booked into the hotel after me, while I was waiting for my taxi. I was told that they were part of a bigger (and hence presumably more lucrative) group. In short, if you have picked this hotel because of its location and the facilities you need, based on my experience, you may end up with neither.

I loved this hotel. I don't see how it could be better. Whoever you are you would find it hard to be disappointed, even if you were the Earl of Bradford or Tre from The Apprentice!

J’ai adoré cet hôtel. Je ne vois pas comment il pourrait être mieux. Qui que l’on soit, on peut difficilement être déçu même si l’on est le Comte de Bradford ou Tre de l'émission The Apprentice !

Siamo stati a Parigi nel luglio 2006 e abbiamo alloggiato all’Amarante Champs Elysee. Quest’hotel è in un’ottima posizione, è situato a pochi passi dagli Champs Elysee ma è un posto tranquillo e sicuro. Il personale parla l’inglese. Le camere sono confortevoli, il bagno era pulito e di una dimensione adeguata. C’è la cassaforte in ogni camera. La colazione è eccellente. L’aria condizionata era molto gradita, visto che in quel periodo si era verificata un’ondata di caldo. Il bar è caro, una Coca costa 6 euro. In camera troverete frutta secca, patatine e vino, ma non sono in omaggio! Avevamo tre adolescenti con noi, in quest’hotel per loro non c’era nessun tipo di intrattenimento, ma non aveva importanza, perché eravamo sempre fuori.

Wir waren im Juli 2006 in Paris und übernachteten im Hotel Amarante Champs Elysee. Dieses Hotel hatte eine sehr schöne Lage, fast direkt am Champs Elysee, es war aber ruhig und sehr sicher. Das Personal sprach Englisch. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel, das Bad kompakt und sauber. Die Zimmer waren auch mit einen Safe ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war exzellent. Die Klimaanlage war in der Hitze ein Geschenk des Himmels. Die Bar war teuer, eine Cola kostete 6 Euro. In den Zimmer gab es Nüsse, Chips und Wein, die Sachen waren aber nicht umsonst! Wir waren mit drei Teenagern unterwegs, die im Hotel nichts machen konnten. Da wir aber die meiste Zeit eh unterwegs waren, stellte das kein Problem dar.
