Well located if you're travelling by car and do not want to navigate the congested city center. Easy access to city center by nearby bus. Newish hotel with a grocery store nearby. Room was a bit new age in design, OK facilities, with a fair shower. Swimming pool was lovely. Good breakfast buffet. Reasonable air conditioning--not at cool as we would have liked it, but adequate.

I would like to show appreciation to a wonderful hotel and staff.
myself and 6 friends, all lads, stayed at the hotel and found it to be professional, classy, helpful and great to look at. We enjoyed the rooms we had, the underground car park!, the swimming pool and generally staying in a circular hotel!
It is worth the money, theres a Lidl next door for your junk food and what ever else you may need. The location is close to Alhambra, which is why we had booked it.
*As Muslims we did feel that finding Halal places in the area was a little difficult. There are few though takes a little finding. If you want to know more PM me*
I would return and stay in the hotel again without a second thought based on my experience this first time.

Just wanted to leave a few thoughts about this marvellous hotel. It is located just outside Granada but it is a simple taxi ride to get to the Alhambra (about ?7.00 each way). The hotel cost only ?40.00 for a super double room decorated in a boutique modern style. I don't know if this is a regular offer but it is fantastic value. The carpark is underneath the hotel and it is not clear how one parks up before going to reception - I recommend you park in the carpark (entrance on the left of the hotel) and then take the lift up to reception.
We arrived very late at night and the coffee shop/bar food was still very good and freshly made. I would give the breakfast (costs extra) a miss as the choice was only average (we arrived late and the quality was low) with lousy coffee and poor service.
Sum Up: for the price I don't think this hotel can be beaten in the Granada area.

Be careful of extra charges!!!

The Abades Nevada is an ultra modern hotel that is showing some wear already. The rooms were comfortable, but smelled from smoke. We used the spa and did not realize that there was an extra charge $17 per person to use their indoor pool. They said that they would remove the charge, but guess what??? when we got home the charge was on our credit card. Not too honest about their customer service. We would never stay at one of their hotels again. There are so many charming Spanish hotels with honest customer oriented owners. Skip this one.

The hotel is in the suburbs of downtown Granada but there is a regular and frequent bus service that runs from very near the hotel (couple of mins walk).
The rooms are decorated with an oriental minimalistic theme and the bathrooms are great esp the toilets with all the hot and cold water sprays, jets and drier. Kids loved it.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
We had to book an extra room between the two families as it has a policy of not more than 3 guests occupancy/room. However we did not use the third room at all as the family rooms we booked were very generous in size and the sofa bed was a double bed and comfy too.
The buffet breakfast is so-so. No great shakes. Have to pay extra for it. Nice patissiere next door and a Lidl supermarket next door too.
Great car parking facility, around 10 euros per night.
