Stayed in for a week in March 2005, and most things in this hotel are quite good. Very clean, good food and relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very helpfull. It is also in a very convenient location (a few meters from the lift to the sli slopes). It is not the ultimate luxury, but a very wise option. I recomend staying in this hotel.

This is a fabulous hotel, full of gorgeous wood panelling, carvings and furniture. The bar area is light and airy, and very cosy once it gets dark. The dining room is spacious, and the breakfast buffet is a cornucopia to satisfy all tastes. The rooms mirror the luxury of the public areas of the hotel, complete with marble bathrooms.
The outdoor swimming pool is is a pleasant location, and there are beautiful gardens at the back of the hotel, parts of which are open to guests.
Despite the luxurious surroundings, the atmosphere at the Rutllan is friendly and informal.
Because of its tax-free status, accommodation in Andorra is not expensive, but I think this hotel could double its prices and still be fully occupied.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to others - it's a slice of luxury at a low price.
