Was very impressed at the size of the rooms. Mine came with a mini bar, microwave and fridge. The room was very clean as was the dining area. I took a group of students, and the walls were thick enough to keep from hearing them. Also, the staff was wonderful and even let me use their computer when the public one wasn't working. it is somewhat far from the city (which is weird the way they have the hotel in a residential area), and you must get a taxi to go in and out of the area. Other than that, it was a nice 3 day stay.

The hotel itself generally provides a nice en suite room to get a bit of sleep and a nice enough continental brekkie. Trouble is the description on a lot of websites said it was 5 mins from the centre which ourselves and some of our fellow guests took to mean barcelona which of course ended up being a good train journey. Theres some nice bars n restaurants in sabadell centre. Try find a taxi back late at nighht from a scarily abandoned train station! there is a big language barrier too with it not being a tourist area

We just got back from our trip to Barcelona, it was brilliant! We stayed at the Husa de Valles hotel in Sabadell which is about a 45 min train ride from Barcelona. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with young children especially if your main aim is to 'see' Barcelona, because travelling to and from takes too long. You have to take a bus (right outside the hotel) into Sabadells' centre and from there catch a train into Barcelona, the whole journey can take up to an hour (2 hours of travelling everyday not including extra travel for when you are sight seeing in Barcelona!). My husband picked this hotel as it was cheap, it's a 3* and quite nice but located in a very very quiet area, with nothing close by not even a restaurant. You have to go into Sabadells' centre for everything and it's a 10-15 min bus ride away. It's self catering, the only place for food is a pizza deliver one. The hotel has cable tv but i was disappointed that the only English channels were the 24 hour news ones. This may not matter to most but after a long day of travelling i do like to watch something pleasant on the tv. There is a PC set up in the foyer for free internet use, the staff speak very little english and one in particular was very rude. If you don't mind the eerie quietness, travelling and self catering this is the hotel for you. oh and there are no bath tubs just showers! I would not stay here again, as the time spent travelling to and fro Barcelona could have been spent just in Barcelona. Sabadell does however hold some very nice markets!

I stayed in this hotel when i visited a friend in sabadell. I speak no Catala or even Spanish and struggled. I was pleased that I had my friend with me to translate. I found the hotel to be very clean modern and spacious - and given that I enjoyed the discounted prices during the opening week - it was excellent value for money. As the previous reviewer mentioned - people need to be careful when booking this hotel. If you want something near Barcelona then this is not really the hotel for you. But it is a good base if you want to see a little more than just Barcelona city. I liked the fact that the hotel was not in the centre of sabadell - i wanted a quiet peaceful place and that's exactly what i got. Perfect for me. If anyone finds the bar of chocolate i left in the fridge - can you please eat it :) I would definitely stay at the Husa Valles again.
