Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Good decent hotel though the single room was rather small but that was well expected (the shower is tiny and being 6'2, it is such a cramp). It was definitely clean with friendly and helpful staff. Location wise is ok but there are plenty more hotels near to the Termini station and the internet shops. Don't mind staying here again but would check out first the hotels in front of the station.

When we were there, there were a lot of blackouts (about 3 a day) and the bathroom smelled something strange. I have been in other hotels of 2 stars (eg Paris) and the breakfast was much more complete than this one. It must be said that the room we were assigned had nothing to do with the room of the pictures they show. One of the two beds(we thought that we would have a double bed instead of twin) had the matress in apalling conditions, and we had to sleep in the same bed. However, the stay was pleasant, but because it is very well located and because I went with my girlfriend. It must also be said that the staff was very nice. If I had to score the hotel without taking into account the location I would give more or less a 3 (of 10).

We stayed here for 3 nights in Jan, booked through the Hotel website for 170 Euros.
We didnt think we would be in the Hotel that much so we just wanted something basic and walking distance to everything we wanted to see eg:Colleseum (10 min) , Trevi (15 min), Spanish Steps (20 mins) & Vatican (30 mins) - the Train station is 15 minute walk.
The rooms are really small with tiny bathrooms but they are clean and very suitable just to stay the night - I wouldnt recommend this hotel if you want luxury and to hang out in the hotel.
The hotel has a fantastic restaurant around the corner called 'Ricci' in a little laneway - its where locals eat, we ate there twice it was so good.

I stayed at this hotel for five days. The rooms are a little small but met my needs very well and they were kept very clean. I found the staff very personable and friendly. The location is excellent, there are so many places to see within walking distance. The offered breakfast was basic, yet I found it to be very good for my tastes.
I am very pleased to have stayed at this hotel. It was easy to find walking from the train station. It was staffed by very friendly people. It was clean and comfortable.
The best compliment I can give is that I am very happy to have stayed at the Hotel Picasso and I would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Rome.
