This hotel has all the appeals to be a great hotel in the great town of Granada, but the only great thing you get is the not-worth-it price per room. I was really looking forward my stay at PSI but...
Wonderful spot, with wonderful views from room but that?s all you get for what you pay. (And you pay a lot). In the same area, (Plaza Nueva, Albayzin) you will find lots of alternative places to stay.
Really noisy (inside and outside hotel), old furniture (claiming to be antiques), dusty, ridiculus 14" TV and mini-Bar with only 2 tiny bottles of water . Moreover, our bathroon was not spot-less and that is something I really hate specially when I am charged as luxury hotel.
Not coming back to Palacio Santa Ines (and I am a frequent visitor of lovely Granada).

Obviously this hotel gets mixed reviews and mine is the same. You must accept the fact that this is a quirky spot - old palacio with an eccentric but charming renovation job. We had two rooms (for three people) and they were very nice with old furniture and enormous character. My only complaint besides the price tag (a bit too much) was that the staff was more interested in each other than in the customer.
We asked for a restaurant recommendation and got one but no map, no little diagram and we never found it. They just didn't seem to care very much. Maybe it was an off day, or not the usual staff. I would recommend staying here especially since it's really the exact neighborhood you want to be in.
The only energy the staff actually exhibited was attempting to get us on an expensive tour of the Alhambra. It felt very much like a kickback situation. As it turned out the tour was booked and so was the Alhambra - a note of caution: book ahead for tickets to the Alhambra or you run the risk of not getting in. Fortunately we had seen it before.

Guest name: caramaria, salisbury
room no. 10.
the hotel duty person told me it was a luxury room.
it was very sabby, dirty and run down, more like a room in a hostel.
the view was excellent but that was not worth eu 145 plus eu 10 for breakfast.
there are no drink making facileties in this hotel and it was impossible to get a cup of tea or coffee.
i found the staff unfriendly and not helpful,a very i could not care less attitude.
i do not recommend this hotel.

We spent 3 night here in February, and got a good rate. The hotel is fine and in a terrifically convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a standard room and it was fine for us. Since our time is out of the hotel we just require it to be clean and comfortable. It was both. There is a night club very near and they get a bit rowdy about closing time. It didn't bother us, but some in our party said it awakened them. The maid did miss our room one day, but fresh towels were sent so we were OK. The utility company turned off the gas the following morning so there was no hot water for a while. The staff was apologetic but it wasn't their fault. I suppose in summary I would say: It is not the Ritz, but the location and rate are very much worth a stay here.
