I stayed at the Amadeus with a friend for 4 nights in Sept 2005. We had been to Valladolid earlier in the year and had selected this hotel (having walked round to see quite a few) as it was near to the main square and near to the Plaza D'Espana where there were buses and taxis available. These were the main criteria for selecting this hotel as it we were there to see a sporting event that required a bus or taxi to the stadium each day. The hotel itself isn't huge and there weren't any leisure facilities on site but the rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is very continental with just a coffee, juice and a croissant but quite adequate to start the day. There wasn't a restaurant on site but there are plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. If staying here be sure to go and join in the 'promenade' for a couple of hours before dinner when the whole town, young and old, walks round the town for an evening stroll. The hotel staff were helpful and were happy to order taxis if you couldn't be bothered to walk the 2 minutes to the Plaza. We had an enjoyable trip and I would stay here again.
