We stayed at this hotel for three nights and were very pleased. The hotel seems newly renovated and the rooms are nicely decorated. We stayed on the third floor and from the balcony it was a pleasant open view with lots of green in the surrounding area. The air-conditioning was excellent, which was certainly needed since temperatures were way over 30 degrees. Relatively close to the main shopping street. Staff was pleasant. On the negative side it’s a few hundred meters to the beach and the hotels’ beach was quite expensive. The breakfast was basic and nothing more, also beware of the American Coffee they serve, very strong and with a burnt taste. Used the pool on the top floor the day we came and left, it was nice but the pool certainly looks bigger in the pictures than it is in reality

Wir waren für drei Nächte in diesem Hotel und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel schien neu renoviert gewesen zu sein und die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet. Wir waren im dritten Stock untergebracht und vom Balkon aus hatte man eine schöne Aussicht auf die grüne Landschaft. Die Klimaanlage hat prima funktioniert, was auch nötig war, denn es war draußen über 30 Grad warm. Nicht weit von der Hauptgeschäftsstraße entfernt. Das Personal war nett. Nicht so toll war, dass der Strand ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und auch recht teuer war. Das Frühstück war einfach, Vorsicht auch vor dem amerikanischen Kaffee dort, der sehr stark war. Wir haben den Pool am ersten und am letzten Tag benutzt. Dieser sieht auf den Bildern größer aus als in Wirklichkeit.

Hotel Augustus is a tipical hotel in the Riviera Romagnola, family managed. Rooms are small, with moquette, badly arranged. There's a pool on roof but it's so small. The reception service is good and people is very polite and funny. If you want to go to the beach you have to walk 10-15 minutes.
